I haven't seen a single ad for this game anywhere. Classic Sony.
It takes about ten seconds (maybe longer for you) to re-read what you just typed. I highly recommend doing that next time. I'm assuming you went to school....somewhere. Don't be ashamed of your education and your ability to communicate via the typed word.
This applies to a lot of people on this site.
This just sounds like an idiotic strategy. I know plenty of people who either A) haven't made up their minds about KZ2, or B) have never even heard of KZ2. A public demo before the game's release could easily help bolster opening day sales. Which is really all this guy is saying. What's wrong with wanting KZ2 to have a mammoth opening? Why all the hate? Are your penises really that ineffective?
The beauty of Halo 3 is how it plays, not how it looks. It was good enough at the time, but it's absolutely dated now. But the construct, the mechanics, the satisfaction of planting that perfect grenade or berserking your way through the brutes with next to no life is immense.
All in all, a well thought-out article. I completely agree. Microsoft has been put on notice. I can't wait to see what they do next.
For Sony to claim that the PS3 is the end-all be-all of HD gaming and media (which they and you have since before launch), it'd be nice to see it support the current peak of home theater HD, which is 1080p. With the exception of MGS4, every must-have title from PS3 has stopped at 720p. Argue the symantics of which looks better all you like, but this doesn't seem like a powerhouse to me.
If sensible questions are now considered "trolling", god help us all. (And who the e...
HAHAHAHAHA! Someone's been drinking the Sony kool-aid. (Psst! They peed in it...)
Crappy quality. Week video.
Why isn't Sony's powerhouse, flagship, saviour-of-mankind, chart-topping blockbuster rendered in 1080p?
If you'd bought a PS3 at launch and had to wait two years for the first must-buy game of the console's life, you'd be pretty desperate to rub it in the competition's face - a competition that has been raking in profits and success since it's launch.
This is a joke...

These people seriously need to get girlfriends...
But maybe the sales figures and the numbers here are proving something that PS3 users are uncomfortable with. Maybe it's not the fact that 360 users are dumb or ignorant or bad consumers. Maybe Microsoft has cultivated such a sweet library of games and entertainment services that it's worth it to users to replace their boxes.
The real question is, if PS3's had such a high failure rate, then where would that put Sony? Would people continually repurchase a PS3? Something tells me n...
I don't get why you guys can't give Xbox it's credit. Sure it may have a high failure rate, but it also has a lot of great games. Typically, the multiplat versions of games perform better on it, too. I realize Xbots give you guys a hard time about the PS3 and it's piddling game library and how developers keep abandoning it, but if any of them played MGS4 then they know it's an impressive system, whether they want to admit it or not. If any of you have played Gears, Mass Effect, Left4Dead, Spl...
Why not just call the article "the five titles you must play"? Everyone one of these is multiplat.
I thought all these things until I sat down with some friends and we passed the controllers around in co-op. What a difference. It's basically the reason I'll be buying the game. When sh*t hits the fan and you're scrambling, the clunky controls actually make it a bit more fun. Lots of laughs. Laughs so hard we were farting.
Great game when combined with beer and friends.
These controls are really starting to show their age. I wish there was more sensitivity in the stick; there's no degrees of movement. It's either walk or don't. The sprint is a little weird. I wish it were a shoulder button like Rainbow 6. And the fact that you still can't walk with your weapon drawn is baffling. The series has gotten such a facelift in the graphics department, and yet the gameplay is almost entirely devoid of innovation. It's nice to see more controls in the close-combat and...
With phrases like this, you know it's an objective article.
The days that I'm a Sony fanboy, I shake my head with embarrassment that this buffoon is becoming the voice of the PS3.
The days I'm an Xbot, I relish in these posts.
You guys really need to find a new spokesman.
KZ2 isn't even out yet and already you're back to coveting 360 exclusives! This is amazing. For a system that is "so behind the times", that has "no longevity", that has been "a colossal blunder of hardware and ego", you guys sure seem to want its games a lot.
It's Maxim...who cares?
I don't even need to read this article to know that it's true.
