Just for the record, I feel like inFamous has a lot to live up to, considering that most of the PS3 cult have been claiming that the memory offered by blu-ray will radically alter what a sandbox game can be.
If anyone wants to retract/amend these claims, now's the time.
Yeah, I'll be picking up inFamous.
Not too excited about Uncharted though. I thought the first one was amusing at best. Graphics aside, I hated the visual style. Too cartoony. And the controls drove me nuts. So I'm not really sure how I excited I should be about going up against human beings with a shotty control scheme.
I just hope they handle this multiplayer better than Konami handled the multiplayer for MGS4. Matchmaking in that was a b!tch and a half.
Whether you think they're winning or not, that's a matter of opinion. And while I agree with most of what this author says, I'm biased, and so I understand the Sony cult's rants.
It's refreshing to see pro-360 articles coming back. Regardless of where you stand in the console war, you have to give Microsoft respect for staying in the fight/owning the fight this far. Sony was certainly king, but then they got a little too drunk on that power and completely fumbled this gen right o...
Last I checked, 360 fans weren't the ones b!tching about the console. It's Sony fanboys who don't even own one.
We're quite happy with our decision.
The drive is certainly the weakest part of the system. Sounds like a buzz saw when it runs. And unfortunately mine is on its last leg: sometimes it won't spin-up when I put a disc in and I have to spend a couple minutes rotating/tilting/spanking the system in order for the drive to engage. Annoying.
I've nicknamed my 360 Galactica: it's badass, beautiful, and I never know which jump will be the one to finally break its back.
First, the control scheme is weak and laggy.
Second, if you're a 360 gamer, then more than likely you loathe the dualshock for FPS.
Third, balls.
It's good. Unless you're a Sony fanboy. Then it's aggravating.
Then I read it. And it was awesome. Couldn't have said it better myself. Thank god there's someone with a brain and a decent sack of marbles out there.
The idea of KZ2 moving systems is kind of silly. The idea of KZ2 wooing 360 owners to PS3 is really. And the idea that KZ2 is the pinnacle of FPS or hardware technology is just...well, you get the idea. (It's retarded.) Flower impresses me so much more than this game.
14 gigs? Really?! This is all you get for 14 gigs?...
Honestly, it doesn't really matter what MS does at E3 because they're still competing with Sony - even without exclusives. Still have yet to see an NPD that doesn't list MS ahead. And let's not forget the 10 million console lead the 360 already has over PS3.
As for the article, here's a gem from the wordsmith: "Where I think the Playstation 3 really separates itself, however, is with its exclusive games that no one ever talks about."
Maybe they never talk a...
Really? That's your go-to example? It's a fun game, but the graphics certainly aren't groundbreaking. It looks like an up-rezzed PS2 game. PS2.5 perhaps.
It's fun in a childish, platformer sort of way, but it's certainly no revolution of gaming. Flower on the hand, totally deserves to be on that list.
But LBP? Please.
And could this guy sound like less of a noob? "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots pushed the Playstation 3’s audio capabilities with crystal clear sound effects, top notch voice acting and a cinematic soundtrack." This feels like grasping at straws. All the elements crammed into that gam...
Numbers are numbers. No matter how you look at it, sales is how we measure success with anything. Books. Movies. Music. Television. It's the way the world works. Money. I'm surprised the Sony club has such a hard time grasping that.
And the short memory of that club is shocking as well. Two months ago, or more specifically, February 26th, the hype was huge. So many voices proclaiming so definitively the massive pwnage that was about to be unleashed by Killzone 2. So many preorder...
Applause. Standing O. Awesome job throwing Morgy's numbers back in his face. Have bubbles.
Thing is, I'm not even angry. Ignorance is everywhere. You accept it. But I do pity Bob. In a perverse kind of way, it's nice to now that people like him exist. It's makes us appreciate our own lives so much more. Can you imagine the loneliness, the insecurity, that must consume him to prompt comments like these?
Daddy must not have lived him enough. Mommy must have hit him. Whatever it was, I'm truly sorry for Bob Saget Remix. His life will never be more than an echo of somethin...
We don't have to hope. Drop those f*ckers fast. It's too many we can't hang him by his minuscule wang.
This article sounds like back-peddling. I love Gears 2, and the graphical improvements were nice, but I wouldn't say it was a huge jump. The awesomeness of the game comes from the mayhem, especially in Horde.
I'd like to see a new 360 engine. UE does a lot of things nicely but it also lacks a lot of finesse. In that regard, it's like an American muscle car. I'd like to see a Ferrari. If that's possible. At this point, I question how much more can be squeezed out of the console. ...
Some people don't mix well with words. Or thinking for that matter.
Have bubbles. Let the tards think what they want.
First, I applaud you for choosing a very fitting name.
Have YOU ever put Gears 2 and KZ2 side by side on an HD screen? Like a 52" Aquos?
KZ outputs in 720p - a strike against already in my book. It's soft. It's fuzzy. Its less-than-impressive textures and build are covered up by a flurry of lighting, smoke, and blur effects.
Gears outputs in 1080p. It has textures. The character models are much more solid than Sev or anyone else in his squad. And it...
True indeed. It's a shame none of the fockwits on n4g seem to get that message.
Ted Brockwood certainly had a lot of interesting things to say. It's too bad the interviewer hasn't gotten out of puberty or his braces.
