Right now I'm tied between ME2 and RDR.
Alan Wake was fun, but I disagree with some of this guys points. If there's an Honorable Mention Award, or a Half-Decade In The Making Award, then Wake should get it. Downloadable games consistently have the highest resolution. Braid, Shadow Complex, Flower, GTPrologue are all 1080p.
Anything higher than 1080p (ultra HD) won't be coming to home theaters for at least another decade. So why would console makers incorporate a format that even the best TV's just don't support yet?

You're reading and interpretting wrong. I bought my ps3 for it's bluray. That's what got me into the store. It's what got A LOT of people into the store. The fact that I game on it is secondary. Stop being so literal. I think your skull bandana is too tight.
But that's about it. Most of the games on the list look like their feature strong gameplay over anything else.

Agree with most sensible posters that the man is entitled to his opinion. Even more so since, you know, he's a game designer. After all, Gears was the first next-gen title to feature visuals close to CG. You can say a lot about the Gears franchise and even though it might not look like UC or KZ, it certainly ain't ugly. Technically speaking. And until I see random n4g users creating games that look better than Gears, I'll just keep ignoring their butthurt sobs of insecurity.
