Wow. Look at all those phantom disagrees. So many PS3 kids showing up for a 360 article.

That's true, but MS doesn't really seem to hurting either.

I agree with you to a point, but - like it or not - exclusives just don't seem to be necessary to carry the 360 at this point. MS is doing fine these last couple years without massive exclusives. They can kinda coast by on multiplats and kinect now because they front loaded so much of the 360's life with timed exclusives and DLC. And despite whatever people think of that strategy, from a business standpoint, it's paid off.

I love my 360, but I'll admit, the ga...

Yes, you could be correct. Or we could just enjoy annoying tight asses like yourself.

Never clicked. Just like to comment. =)

It's not about being broken. It's about being uninspired. For me it comes down to style.

Jarhead and Black Hawk Down look nothing like each other. Hell, even Jarhead and Generation Kill are completely different while being about very similar wars.

But maybe this is a different discussion. I'm not necessarily looking for realism. I'm looking for a visual statement.

Also, KZ and LBP and UC seem to sell themselves.

Bubbles. Because that's funny.

Seriously. This guy is beyond lame.

What you said makes no sense. Glasses or not, 3D adds eye strain. It's the nature of the tech.

5655d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

At least. Usually take the market price, which would be about $5k, then add $1k for the S, $1k for the O, $1k for the N, and $1k for the Y.

My launch 360 never died. Still rocking to this day.

Hope you're right but that's far from proven.

And Panasonic makes Pioneer plasmas now.

My new Viera is treating me very well.

"Especially when people are obviously already buying 3D?"

Except people aren't. People are taking advantage of the influx of 3D to buy the much cheaper 2D sets. Everything you mentioned (accessories and $$$) is precisely why these sets are nothing more than a niche market.

I think it's only when glassless 3D shows up that we'll see a bump in the market. And I think manufacturers think that too.

Dude, well played. Bubbles.

I'm not disputing that move is more accurate than Kinect. I was merely remarking on how silly it is to care about how we look while using any motion controller. There's no way to look dignified. It all looks retarded.

5656d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Agreed, Karum. I've seen some amazing shit being done with Kinect by hospitals and govt contractors. You hook it up to a PC with a dedicated program, and the technology is astounding. BEYOND Minority Report. But when MS pulled the internal processor, they seriously gimped this thing for gaming.

off topic @ hd_gamer: right. because sony boys never make phantom disagrees. 360 boys are the only real fanboys. they're so the worst. I hear they all have AIDS.

5656d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Right. Because holding a tiny glowing ball looks so much cooler.

5656d ago 3 agree13 disagreeView comment

Kaveti, well said. Really well said. Bubbles.

I wouldn't call them shallow per se, but I do think we're getting to a point where if that's all you can say about a game, that it's pretty, then the game isn't really delivering much.
