This is similar to the "couldn't care less." I hear people say "I could care less," which to me means something different from "I couldn't care less."

Personally, I think the 3D is a waste of time. Only a very tiny sliver of the gaming population is ever going to experience that. GG could have taken those resources and put them into something else.
I respect the technical achievement, but it's pretty much pointless.

Sorry, Ju, but I think most of us have played KZ2 and the demo of KZ3. Granted, it's an old build, but it looks the same to me, just with snow.
I know it's a sin for a gamer to just play for fun and not understand particle effects and specular lighting and not have a PhD in computer programming as many of you seem to have (or pretend to have), but from where I'm sitting, the KZ3 demo is just more KZ2. And I'm not saying that as an insult.

As far as I've seen, fanboys of all kinds are the only one's who give a shit about scores. The rest of us play to have fun, not to brag. You should try it some time.
In reality, nothing will change. In the minds of fanboys however, I think even less will change. Finally had time to sit down and play the single player demo and it was very nice. Controls were sweet and precise. Sound was deafening and rattled the nerves. Music was epic and much improved over the ugliness of KZ2's score.
Didn't really care for the jetpack sequence though. Will have to play again. And again. And again.
