Where are you that a movie is $10 and a game is $70? Where I am, movie's are at least $12-$14. And Amazon always locks in my game prices at $60. Yay no taxes!
"we used to get more hours of gameplay for last gen for a lower price"
Did you read the article? He mentions this complaint specifically. Because it's bullshit. Ever since the NES days, games have always been around the $50-$60 range. And they weren't that much longer than they are now.
We all knew it was only a matter of time before someone mentioned these.
I would never say either of these games has shitty gameplay - they're both fun as hell - they just don't really do anything new. Now, if someone said they were overrated, I wouldn't disagree.
Agreed overall. I think this is one of the most over-/underrated games of this gen, and yes, I know that's a bizarre thing to say. It's so close to hitting the mark, but misses only just. If they could patch the A.I. it would be a huge step forward. But as far as atmosphere, visuals, sound, combat, it's exhilarating.
The most fun I've had with Fable 3 was playing co-op. I wouldn't call it broken, but I agree with a lot of this guy's gripes. It is far inferior to Fable 2.
Sidebar: someone needed to proofread this article. So poorly written.
We've all been around N4G enough to have noticed a few things. As such there's two possibilities here:
1. There's about an equal number of 360 fanboys to PS3 fanboys, in which case, while 360 fanboys might troll PS3 threads occasionally, the vast majority have considerably more restraint and will-power than the PS3 fanboys who spam EVERY fucking Xbox story.
or...
2. All fanboys spam equally, which means there's about 10 PS3 fa...
Kudos, RedHemi. Very lame, zez. Go find a PS3 story to masturbate over.
Wow. This is just sad when someone needs to qualify their pro-microsoft remarks in a microsoft related story.
Can you imagine a story about PS Move where someone said, "I love the Move! (but I also own Kinect so please don't hate me)" They would lose half their bubbles in an instant.
I think it's personal preference. Just because Minority Report depicts a shinier, cleaner future than Blade Runner doesn't make it a less enjoyable film.
Yes! This is what all other racing games are missing. That feeling of being encased in metal, flying at 200mph, with your brain crammed against the back of your skull.
Hope they have 3D support. Actually that might be too much.
So...you're saying Killzone looks less like a video game than Crysis?
Do you think that's because of the game, the hardware, or your TV?
Those touch sticks are either the Achilles heel or the trojan horse. But I'm not that interested. I agree with the author - I prefer to keep my phones and gaming devices separate.
Has anyone checked out the 3D options of this on Xbox?
Agreed Kurt Russel.
I have both, play both, love both for entirely different reasons. But if you think doing 2 laps around Tsukuba in either of these games is going to feel at all like what it would feel like in real life, you're just delusional. That's like calling a fleshlight a perfect substitute for sex. It's sad.
Engine and tire vibration, wind sheer, engine roar, track imperfections, G-forces, the sun in your eyes, and most importantly, the ...
The more I see of this game, the more I want it. What I liked most about this video was the emphasis on stealth. The idea of hiding in the grass, moving through like a silent killer, is bad-ass.
Cannot wait for this game. Co-op or not, it's gonna be great.
I can't catch a game. Whenever I finally get into a lobby, it boots me right as the match is about toe start.
I was intrigued to find a 3D menu in the options though...
Just because someone is biased doesn't make them wrong by default.
Kotaku, IGN, Gamespot, Destructoid, etc. have all been labeled anti-Sony. Now either they've ALL been bought by Microsoft/inexplicably hate Sony for no reason, or those who support Sony are a touch overly sensitive. And I don't mean to single out the Sony camp. Xbox fans are just as radical.
But the truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle.
Let's all tone i...
The xbox version of Chaos Theory is the definitive stealth game of all time. First truly next gen game. My friends and I still play it on XBL from time to time. Great co-op. Very happy to see HD version coming to PS3.
