Yes, but Crysis 2 is far and away a better game with better action, better set-pieces, a better story, and better characters.
Excited to see video of this.
Can't stop lol-ing at all the KZ3 praise. People seem to be confusing graphics with an overall gaming experience. Underneath it's exceedingly polished veneer, Killzone is one of the stalest franchises of this generation. The trite story, the bland dialogue, the everything-done-before mechanics. Congratulations to the PS3. It's has some of the most beautifully ordinary exclusives of all time (UC and inFamous being the exceptions for me).
I give Bulletstorm props fo...
I don't think this is Italy. Looks like Ezio's on a journey. If the trailer is any indication.
These are nice looking screens. The fire in particular looks beautiful.
"the only people who really care about which system is more powerful are the fans that love to argue online. To the average person they’re only concerned about which one is the most affordable and has the coolest games"
Very very true. Good speculative article with very reasonable analysis.
The more I see of UC3, the easier it is to spot what's gameplay and what's pre-rendered.
Speaking for myself, I've gotten way more than 4 hours of enjoyment out of this game. And I never even touched the multiplayer. And I notice your comment says nothing about the quality of that campaign.
Agreed, and I just have to lol at this article. Can this author even spell "cherry-picked?" To my eye, UC looks better on PS3 hands down, and I have a hunch if you blew up the Vita's feed to a 50" screen, it would become even more apparent.
But it is very impressive stuff for a handheld device nonetheless.
As a general question, are you guys just pissy about the multiplayer? Because there's a lot that MW has to offer outside of that.
Preach it, brutha. You ain't alone.
I have to say, I like the the lower contrast look a lot better. It's much more naturalistic. Too often, people who know nothing about visual design think that more contrast and saturation makes a better image. Those people are wrong.
I'm not saying that's the thinking at Naughty Dog. Just that I prefer the original look.
I love this game. Just wish more people played so I could catch a good game over XBL.
Color me excited.
My favorite part of the article: "GamingBolt.com strongly recommends its users to support Sony during these tough times for the company."
As if Sony needs your support. This isn't a family member in the hospital. It's a corporation that would hang all of us out to dry if the profits were right.
To each their own, I suppose. I for one very much enjoyed the story and single player campaign. I mean, how often do you see helicopters falling from the sky, and for my money, they nailed the eeriness of a Soviet invasion. Shephard's double-cross left me speechless and the final run for retribution was exhilerating. But that's just me.
One thing I don't think should fault the game though if the reviews. Infinity Ward has no control over the ratings, and to hold a...
I don't think this is necessary. The line that Forza currently uses is perfectly fine. At this point, I turn it off for most races and run with only the braking line (which I wish GT5 would allow me to do).
OFF-TOPIC
It's funny to me how so many of you are talking about Kinect when the article has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
It's also amusing how UnbiasedGamer gets labelled a troll in a MS story for a statement that is 100% correct and factual...
What was so awful about MW2?
I agree with Antz. The MW series has had very respectable SP storylines. Not really sure what everyone's been complaining about. If you're looking for white-knuckle action in a compelling political thriller, MW is sort of where you go. I don't really care about the MP. I just want to hunt down Makarov and stop WW3.
None of you actually read the article, did you?
Sigh. I just feel sorry for you guys. That's all.
