I can't wait for this game, but I'm glad they're delaying. I also hope theres a Rainbox Six sequel/reboot on the horizon. These are my two favorite shooters. You could cancel all others - KZ, COD, Gears (not Battlefield though) - and I probably wouldn't even care so long as GRAW and R6 were kept alive.
Guess I have a Tom Clancy boner. Which is weird, because he's so old and wrinkley.
This game makes me want a sequel to Mirror's Edge.
Another reason: just like the iPad hospitals and universities have been buying them up like crazy. Since MS left it open, it's very easy for industries to program for and utilize in real world situations, such as controlling 3D MRI displays.
I've seen tech out there that is real time, and even cooler, it only copies your facial movements, not the appearance. So you can model it onto an alien or a lizard man or a smurf, and the face will look nothing like yours, but the emotions, movements, and expressions will be 100% yours. It's really cool. Perfect for something like ME.

Someone sounds butthurt...
"Circumstantial evidence." "Innocent until proven guilty." "Jump to conclusions." "Weepy little cry-babies."
Just a few phrases that come to mind while reading these comments.
Most anticipated game of 2012. If games could win Oscars, Team ICO would have a perfect record.
"Imagine if there were no games"
Microsoft wouldn't let that happen. =)
@ NarooN:
"It doesn't need to be said that everyone in this industry is in it for the money, because that's quite obvious."
Actually, it does, because some people on n4g seem to think that Sony was created by God and exists purely because they love gamers and want to heal the world through the PS3.
Oh KageMonkey, wake up you poor fool.
You think just because they're Japanese they lack the same capacity to lie, cheat, steal, and deceive that their western counterparts possess? Corporations are the same around the globe, no matter what their nationality: maximize profits, minimize costs. Ask the Japanese how they feel about TEPCO and see if honor, respect or responsibility factor into it in a positive way.
The most entertaining thing about this entire...
It's easy to praise screenshots, and they do look impressive. But I'm really excited to see some 720p footage of the game in action.
Well said. Have a bubble.
For some of these guys, Sony could kill their dog but hey, it's cool because at least it didn't kill their cat. And let's be honest, if Sony killed your dog, the dog probably had it coming...
Love it. And the fact the you got a disagree just makes me laugh. Some people are retards.
I agree with the first part of your statement, but not the second. I don't really see a difference in these shots. But I don't care. If ME3 looks identical to ME2, I'm still okay with that so long as the story continues to deliver.
I hope so. This game needs to happen.
So if it hasn't blown over since last year - in fact the story keeps getting bigger; for example, npr wasn't covering it before, now they are. So if it hasn't blown over yet, at what point does it become serious?
This is the biggest online outage in the history of online. This is the biggest hack in the history of hacks (77 million users). Sony's stock price has already dropped 3 points and it's going to drop more before this is over. And this will end up ...
MRMagoo, you are incorrect.
A large part of his suit pertains to Sony's severely delayed response in informing consumers about the breach. It is immaterial whether or not Sony is compliance with industry security measures. The data was stolen nonetheless, and Sony sat on that precious gem instead of letting us know. And that could easily make them liable for damages.
Aside from being one of the most far fetched ideas of recent memory, this is horrifically written. Do a proofread, or if that's too much work, get an editor. What a rambling, misspelled and poorly worded piece. Just bad writing.
I think they look nice, with exception of the rock in the foreground of the second picture looking a bit off. What's so unflattering to you?
Me too. I was gonna call bullshit on this claim even before I saw who posted it. No way that PS3 is capable of pulling off super-Avatar quality in real time. Not for another generation at least.
