We didn't even see anything though. I was hoping for a gameplay demo on stage. Still pumped though.
Typo 8/10.
Holy crap. What a conference. MS have just picked up the ball EA dropped yesterday and slamdunked it. Best MS showing I've ever seen. Sekiro, Devil may cry 5, Forza Horizon 4 were my highlights. Great to see MS investing in building a strong 1st party lineup as well. Set the bar really high for eveyone else. 9/10
Well they literally did sell out to Microsoft. That's just what happened. I'm just surprised to see that Ninja Theory, a studio that has said time and time again how great it is to be independant, comes of from such a huge success story in self publishing and give all that freedom up.
It's a great move by MS for sure. I just don't think that it was a wise decision by Ninja Theory.
I also don't know what group you want to associate me w...
Same here. I'm a bit nervous about that but i looks great for sure.
Looks great. Can't wait.
Damn. That's huge. Can't believe Ninja Theory sold out after being so successful self publishing Hellblade.
Kinda sad that it's the only conference today. E3 starts tomorrow I guess.
That's a very specific way of putting it. I'm almost certain that EA will find another way of milking their playerbase.
What a way to kick of E3. They almost put me to sleep with this conference. I didn't expect much and still got disappointed. 4/10.
Depends on the multiplats.
If it's Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed and Destiny - hell no.
If it's Cyberpunk, Kingdom Hearts, new game from Rocksteady and maybe a new Bioshock game hell yeah I want to see that.
I think they can make the conference similar to the 2016 E3 conference.
1. Start with an extensive The Last of Us 2 gameplay reveal played live on stage.
2. Follow up with Death Stranding trailer.
3. Ghost of Tsushima gameplay reveal and release window.
4. Spiderman Trailer with a new character reveal (maybe another villian).
5. VR section (3 games max 5-7 minutes).
6. Short third party section.
7. Shadows die twice trai...
That's a bold prediction. I like it. I hope that Ms has some first party surprises for us as well.
I've only played BF1's single player campaign after everyone praised it so much and it was ok but definitely not "very good". The graphics are obviously amazing and among the best of the industry and the gunplay is great too but the campaign itself was mediocre at best. The level design was subpar and the story was disappointingly bad considering the setting. Maybe I went in expecting too much but I could've done without ever playing the game and in my opinion wouldn'...
Well they already teased "Shadows die twice" at last years game awards. It didn't look like Bloodborne. Whatever it is (Tenchu, new ip, something else?) I can't wait to see more. Bloodborne 2 would be a dream come true but it seems unlikely at this point in time.
Even if we get to lossless instant serverside processing and an infrastructure where the vast majority of the worlds gaming population has the required bandwidth to use such a service there will still be an increase in latency compared to local processing. The visible lag will be twice as bad because with local processing the console/PC renders the frame as fast as possible and then compares it to the server side calculations and corrects for it if needed. And that's the absolute best cas...
Good decision to get these type of announcements out of the way before the conference. It looks pretty cool graphically. I don't have the VR headset though so I think I'll pass on this one.
I get where he's coming from but at the same time you'll never get the same kind of excitement for an incrementally upgraded console such as the PS4 Pro compared to next gen console built from the ground up. It also limits the architecture because everything has to run on multiple versions of the console. That's why the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X only got a minor CPU upgrade.
The thing is that AAA game development takes a long time nowadays. On older generations...
Well that's nothing new. I guess they might be back to annualisation. I only ever played the first AC. I loved the game for the first couple of hours but by the time I've finished it I hated it because it was pretty much a repetition of the first couple of hours over and over without adding enough new and interesting things. I was willing to give AC2 a chance because many people told me that it was a much better game than AC1 but by the time I was considering getting it, Ubisoft alrea...
Looks great for sure. Still more hyped for Sekiro but this is a close second so far.
