Why? E3 is the time to dream. Get hyped man.

I'll say TLOU 2 opens the show. Death Stranding closes it. Ghost of Tsushima will be somewhere in between.

Gameplay reveals for Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of us 2 and Death Stranding and you're not too confident that this is gonna be a good conference?

Headliner incoming.

It was alright. It makes sense to use the E3 conference to introduce the games to a larger audience but for me a lot of the stuff was old news. I still got some minor updates for some games I'm interested in. There was a fair share of new announcements. Unfortunately none of the new announcements really caught my attention. I'll give it a 5/10.

Got hyped there for a second when seeing the Insomniac games logo. It's a VR game meh.

Either Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia would've saved the conference for me.

The only thing that was really interesting to me was Beyond good and evil 2 and they decided to show the stage instead of going fullscreen during the gamplay demo. Other than that Skull & Bones looks cool. It's rare that a multiplayer game manages to keep my interest for long so I don't know if I'm going to end up liking it. I'd rate the conference 5/10.

Well I guess someone saw some pre-alpha gameplay for Beyond good and evil 2. I sure didn't see much because they didn't switch to full screen.

Well the conference was still unnecessary. They just didn't have enough to show. It's actually kinda puzzling to me why they decided to have a press conference this year. 5/10 for me.

That's it? Well that was disappointing.

Looks interesting. Need to see some gameplay. Platinum Games and Square enix is a good combination.

Microsoft: 8/10
Bethesda: 6/10
EA: 4/10

Well even if they didn't announce them we'd still know that they are working on a new TES. Starfield was rumored for some time now so it wasn't a huge surprise either. Since they had nothing to show except short teasers which basically only functioned as confirmation that they are working on those titles I don't want to give them too much props for them. It's still cool to have the official confirmation though.

Well they had some good stuff even though the conference was definitely too long for what they had to show. I'm hyped about Rage 2 new Doom and Wolfenstein . Also first next gen games announced (Starfield, TES VI). If they would've cut all the filler and made it 30-40 minutes shorter it would've been a great conference. As it is I'd give it a 6/10.

Kinda killed the pace after Rage 2.

Rage 2 looks insane.

2834d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

Yeah. I'm just surprised how good this conference actually was. There was so much to get excited about. Sekiro was my highlight as well.

Agreed. Even in this video they are emphasising how important creative freedom and risktaking is to them. They were in a position where they achieved that freedom and now they are going back to a major publisher. Hopefully everything pans out for them and Microsoft really gives them the creative freedom they got promised. I'm sceptical though.

Well we haven't seen very much yet. I'm a bit nervous about Activision publishing it but I'm hoping for another From Soft masterpiece.
