Indeed @Swiggins....I'm in the Northwest and know all about it :D. Happens on a consistent basis.
That weather don't look too promising in the background :D
That's what it's like on the west coast...1 minute it's bright and sunny and 10 seconds later it's hailing. Totally unpredictable.
Yeah I agree. I'm also thinking that GT6 will have a version for the Vita as well, and a possible chance of being cross-play/cross-buy. Buy the PS3 version of GT6 and get GT Vita as a free download.
However, given the fact Drive Club is launching with the PS4 this year, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony releases a GT6 Game-of-the-Year or GT6 Enhanced edition for PS4 in Fall 2014, or sometime after PS4 & Drive Club launch.
Good goin' @DragonKnight!!!
I've enjoyed reading your blogs about how this site has been changing lately, and I'm sure other members, including myself agree with your statements.
I hope your next blog is about how this bubble commenting system is useless and unpopular. It just ticks me off that I've been a member since 2005, longer than most of the mods on here, back as far as when this site was divided into 2 separate sites and then merged in...
That's not bad actually! I was kind of hoping they were going back to the classic/retro slogan(s), but this is different and it stands out.
By quality, I meant a constant/steady release of games (more specifically in the retail side of things, not digital). Plus, it's more of a personal preference for me too. While some or all of Vita's games might be awesome quality to you, there's honestly only 2 or 3 games I would play on it right now, so for me at this point in time, it is not worth it.
It is nice to see. And it seems Sony and Ubisoft have the stongest partnership amongst developers and publishers right now. Good goin' Sony, Keep it up!
They need something different, non-God of War related. A bold new start on a bold new system!
EDIT: @Sandmano, No...nothing God of War or in the God of War Universe. They need to be creative and try different genres and offer different gaming experiences. and like what @TheFallenAngel said, not a FPS. Something along the lines of a platformer-type game. Knack is one, I'd like to see 2 :D
OMG NO!!!!! How did this get Approved???
These mods need to re-write the rules for "Rumor" based news and "Opinion" based news. If they aren't going to let various kinds of rumor news stories to be approved, they should take that extra step and fail some these supposed "opinion" stories as well.
It could be because not enough people downloaded it?? I too wonder how that works for developers. Like for every certain amount of downloads the game gets through the Instant Game Collection, is it a percentage-based pay-out between Sony and the developer?
I don't know for sure, but whatever the case maybe, you cannot really expect much revenue from a 3-year old game that probably didn't get many downloads to begin with.
I think Bobby was mentioning the actual retail side of things, as in buying brand new games via physical disc based rather than digital distribution. This is good news, as I would rather purchase my video games and have the physical based medium instead.
For indie, free-to-play, episodic, and expansion packs, I'm fine with digitally downloading those.
I agree, but sometimes it isn't always that simple.
I think Randy Pitchford should have a guy-to-guy chat with Ted Price....Show him the way Ted!
I think if there's one problem with the Vita besides the somewhat initial high price and no quality games the Vita had at launch, it's the implementation of the proprietary memory cards.
I understand they did this for hacking/homebrew reasons, and to protect the developers from losing out on sales, but isn't that what made the original PSP so popular?? In this day and age, if they built a portable gaming machine with the intent of having digital distribution at th...
Good thing I don't have children then :/
not necessarily. Yes, I agree, they do need a bigger impact on the retail side of things for PSV. Whether that's making more games available through their flash-drive game cartridges or by creating more shelf space and giving consumers more accessories, or even an overall better presentation/layout at the retail stores...something along these lines to help get the PSV to stand out.
But I do believe with the sheer amount of indie developer support for Sony platforms, and e...
This Fall/Winter Gaming Season is going to be EPIC!
33 Days till E3!!!
^that was funnier to read than the actual article...
Really looking forward to Blacklight: Retribution and Primal Carnage: Genesis on PS4....they look like full-blown next-gen games and will be free-to-play and episodic. Very Cool!!
Thanks @chrismichaels04....
Those are all good counter-points you raised and now it's killing me inside, lol. I'm just thinking what if I buy it today then come E3 they do announce a price cut and a new bundle with a retail or downloadable game, 30-day PS+ subscription and an 8GB memory card or something along those lines for $199.99??
It is a tough call for me cause I don't want to purchase one now and then not use it and it just sits on my desk...
