Thanks man, appreciate it!
I agree, it just doesn't feel like the old Xbox team or even Xbox anymore...things have changed drastically from 2005 to now in 2013, but time will tell if they can successfully pull it off.
OMG.....NOOOOO.....I have a headache now. God Damn Fox News!
I might be spit-balling here, but what do you think is the combined average IQ at Fox News? 1.5 perhaps??
You can say the exact same thing about the PS4. I've already paid off my PS4 pre-order and am saving up for games and accessories, so what's your point?
A $100 is $100, and I guess I value my hard earned money more than you I suppose.
Umm Yeah it is....Look at it this way (example):
You can either get a PlayStation 4 + One Game + 1yr PS Plus for $499.
OR
Xbox One with Kinect + No Game + No Xbox Live Gold for $499.
Which sounds better to you?
Great blog post! It's nice to read something that isn't fueled by immediate hate, like other bloggers who shall remain nameless, and a blog that has actual reasoning behind it.
DON MATTRICK OFFICIAL:

"Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience.
For us, the future comes in the form of Xbox One, a system designed to be the best place to play games this year and for many years to come. As is our heritage with Xbox, we designed a system that could take full advant...
Holy Cow!!!
It's Official Now.
The author should replace Nintendo with Microsoft and voila...That's a viable story.
Now this is a guy you would want to grab a beer with and have a normal conversation :D
Andrew House is a million times better than that robotic/scripted/non-funny cyborg that is Don Mattrick. Every time I see him on stage or on camera, I always hope someone comes along and knocks him out. Wait a minute....PS4 is doing that right now!
Amazon Canada is such a joke. Firstly, they only make the Xbox One allowed to be pre-ordered and then never put the PS4 up for pre-order and now it's too late. Good thing EB Games is popular in Canada, or else I'd be pissed.
However, the fact that the PS4 is still in #2 spot on Amazon Canada without even having any pre-orders being taken is still incredible!

Just pre-ordered my PS4 today at my local EB Games in Canada....So good to have that pre-order receipt. Makes me feel like a kid again :D

You know Microsoft's future is bleak when this info pops up:
"On the latter point, Pachter observed that it will take years before downloadable content takes 30% to 40% of the overall game software market. “I think those guys have a lot of years ahead of them,” said Pachter, as disc-based games continue to represent the larger percentage of games sold."
So this leads me to ask, due to the fact Microsoft have said the Xbox One is built for the do...
"sucker-punches"... HA I see what they did there :D
Well...looking at your username, you should know shouldn't you? :D
But to answer your question, No. They never announced it until yesterday and so far there's only 1 PS4 sku with 500GB.
I've been throwing money at my TV all day today and nothing has happened yet!!!
Now I've got to pick it all up for Sony's Conference and see how much I throw then...
I'm throwing money at the TV, but nothing is happening!
=49.9?
I can see Microsoft holding another Mountain Dew/Doritos Win an Xbox every hour contest like they did for Xbox 360....and everyone that wins just immediately put their Xbox One on eBay/Craigslist for $$$.
The way it's looking right now, Microsoft couldn't even give the Xbox One away for free to people to use, the people would revolt and throw them away..lol
It's so nice to know you can't have any type of discussion of games on a site like N4G, that's meant for gamers, unless you want to be called a fanboy or xbone drone....
Can't ask any questions without derogatory replies. Ask something once, shame on me....say something twice, shame on me. And no matter what I type or what I say, it's just not good enough for anyone. Glad to know my question got answered though /s....
Anyways back OT: @Psy...
Yeah very true. I never knew there were that many online retailers selling digital games, but it makes sense. With so many competitors in that space, Steam needs to change its prices to separate them from the others.
But my point about Microsoft trying to be like Steam was in that as far as an all-around digital gaming service/marketplace and online network, Microsoft was trying to imitate Steam's policies and procedures but for the Xbox One. And my point was it just does...
