OT: And I agree, You take away used games, you take away console sales and business. Game shops like GameStop/GAME, etc will have to close stores down and lay off numerous employees. It's just a bad investment to stop dealing with used games/second-hand market and going completely digital.

Yeah, that's true as well. Although most of the stuff that we are complaining about (Always Online-Constant Connection required, used game fee, etc.) those have to be officially confirmed yet.
But you did bring up the mandatory Kinect and games locked to one profile, which I forgot to mention, is also another way to alienate your "core" install base. But just in general, Xbox probably did a great job showcasing it to family's and people interested in a conne...

I was actually quite surprised about the reaction from the gaming media press that were in attendance. Jeff Gerstmann from GiantBomb, Adam Sessler from Rev3, even that Stephen guy from Kotaku....They seemed fairly impressed with what was shown simply because they knew what Microsoft's reveal was going to be about and knew that at E3, the Xbox One would be primarily focused on games, instead of all the TV/Kinect/Motion integration like they focused on at the reveal.

Well I'm talking about the PS3 though.....as in I'll be replacing the hard drive it comes with, with the Seagate 500GB SSHD. I know downloading will be a huge integral part of the Next-gen consoles, but whether you can swap out the HDD in the PS4 (Because you can't on the Xbox One) will be the question.

Just want to clarify that I used to be a PS3 owner, bought an original PS3 at launch and have played most of the games released before 2010 (had to sell all my gaming merchandise to pay off my bills). I've played Uncharted 1 & 2, Infamous 1 (never got to 2), Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Resistance and Ratchet&Clank.

Thanks man. Yeah I've learned a few things from the N4G crowd here about the PS+ and that was one of them. Although, with a 500GB HDD installed, I just downloaded all the games that are of interest to me anyways, plus I've downloaded then cancelled out all the Vita games that are free that I'll want to re-download and play once I get a Vita...
