Any mention of the costs to customers? Or will it at least be part of PS+? Paying to stream a game which you already own is kind of annoying.
Not sure if a class action lawsuit will work. Sony gimped their PS3 console this gen and forced away Linux, and yet many fanboys actually hailed them.
The only thing you can do in such a case is refuse any updates, but that means you might no longer be able to play newer games.
How come BillyDaSheep got just disagrees for stating the only correct fact around this topic? VGC = Europe. GFT=UK.
Of course they can self Publish. It's called the Indie Channel.
@Skizelli
But this is the case:
The only market where we have practically everything released on day one is the PC market, and digital sales surpassed physical sales.
You can always say that on consoles physical sales are still higher, but that's simply because people don't have a proper digital alternative. When people do have a good game offered in digital it sales tons: Minecraft already surpassed in sales most of the Xbox and PS games released since the fi...

All responders should really read what LoveOfTheGame wrote: bringing up numbers will not really win an argument talking about hardcore games.
After all, does anybody here wishes to compare sales of Gran Turismo to Mario Kart? MK Wii pretty much wipes the floor with any GT release ever, yet nobody in their right mind will claim better sales make it a better sim, right?
GT sells better than Forza, and that's a fact, yes. But Forza is still sells amazingly w...
Microsoft always does that. They only see home consoles compete with their own console, and in the mobile space they understand that their Windows Phone share is too small.
It makes more business sense to allow development for other mobile platforms, in increases exposure to their games so they hope it will increase sales of the same franchises their own platforms, and they also benefit the customers who can experience some of these games without having to buy their console first.
Only, the problem with GT is much more than engine sounds. It's the base game that is lacking some major features in both the simulation department, car tweaking, online functions, UI and uneven graphics (with most models being PS2 level models).
If anything, you just showed how Forza gets nitpicked here on partial simulation features which aren't even existing on Gran Turismo. But I guess I an agree with Abriael, only it's Forza that has been on the throne for ye...
Why would they do that? If anyone it's Sony and the fanboys who'd have to put up with a lead designer saying now what is clear to everyone in the industry all along:
"I love how the Sony fan boys are defending and old shitty controller"
The PS4 is a marvelous improvement over that old dodgy controller - they fixed pretty much everything broken except for perhaps the shoddy location of the left analog stick - something which became a staple of Sony...
@Skizelli
Arguing won't change facts: People can get banned from online, but they can still play their games.
Account suspension is something else, and only serves as a temporary measurement in case of accounts suspicious in fraud and hijacking. But if you are the original owner of the account and can prove it (ie not someone who bought existing account from the russian market) you can have the suspension lifted. Assuming of course you didn't particip...
I'm saying that the X360 has more games. You know, numbers. Counting stuff. Math. Ever hear about the concept?
How so? The X360 still offers more games to date. Perhaps that's only thanks to the extra year in the market but one simply can't argue with the actual numbers.
And when it comes to next gen the numbers still didn't reverse: At least on E3 show floor the Xbox One offered more games. We'll have to wait until at least Gamescom and TGS to see if Sony has anything else to show for.
@Skizelli
Even if your account is banned, you only risk losing online gaming. This is clearly stated in steam EULA (and the same applies to digital games on the console. You are never banned from a game).
You like your physical copies for collection purposes? That's great but most people are not collecting plastic cases, and with a big library this could get really cumbersome. This is pretty much why phyiscal music CDs are now almost extinct: no point in collecting plastic...
Prices are just not right? Pretty funny saying this just a week before the Steam summer sale... My digital PC game library has a ratio of about 10:1 to either of my console libraries because of the huge price advantage of digital.
But statements such as "customers don't want to buy it online right now" pretty much explain how Sony managed to let Minecraft slip run right past their noses. The fact that it's selling better than any PS3 exclusive to date pretty...
So does RDR. But that doesn't detract from the awesome single player campaign.
I'd actually would like to BUY the XB1 released as originally intended. Sharing features was awesome, but now it has no tangible advantages over the PS4 - it's just the battle of the exclusives.
(I don't consider Kinect worthwhile yet)
Windows 7 is practically a Vista with more relaxed UAC and a cool WinKey+P to switch between multiple screen combinations :)
@JokesOnYou
His crime is not only praising Xbox One, but actually highlighting a feature that might be exclusive to the Xbox One.
And the worst thing, he's forgoing the exclusivity deal with Sony they had in MGS4.
It must be his fault, no matter how much it simply makes sense that it's Sony who probably didn't want to pay up for exclusivity this time around. It's not 2008 anymore and the PS3 now has a wide selection of in-house exclusives.
The article actually confuses Slow/Fast versus Wide/Narrow.
256-bit GDDR5 is not "faster" than 128-bit GDDR5 just like a 4 lane highway is not "faster" than 2 lane highway. It has a higher bandwidth which means you can push through more sfuff at the same time, but it's actually latency which measures to how fast the memory really is (how much time it takes for a single transfer to get from point a to point b).
