"F that, i'm an Arab myself and i'd rather buy a console with only Hebrew language than the bone lol"

Maybe that's their plan? At the rate of civil wars going in Arab countries in the middle east lately, perhaps they assumed they will annihilate each other, leaving the land for the Hebrews to take over once their gone?

Eventually I will too.
From a pure launch titles perspective the Xbox One does look better, but I decided I will wait for 2014 to see how the dust settles and which one I'd get first, since right now none of them seems to have "that killer app" game for launch.

Where did you come from? Both the PS4 and the One are both launching with 20+ titles, just like the WiiU. Here's the One list:
http://www.ign.com/wikis/xb...

Only difference is that these titles are not going to be comprised of poor ports looking worse than last gen games, and horrible horrible exclusives like Nintendo Land. I mean - come'on - the WiiU after all came out wi...

Deadpoolio, you're coming out as extremely ignorant and borderline delusional here. Here's a short history lesson:

The Xbox 360 was originally announced with only 720P support - nobody thought it could deliver 1080p because it didn't even have HDMI in the initial model. Only component which was strictly up to 720p.

It was in fact the sony droids camp who swore that the PS3 will be superior because Sony fed them with false 1080p games... which then...

This is the interesting part: it seems nobody bothered to read the article, but their "we underestimated console gamers" was about dumbing down Bad Company 1 too much.

But ironically, BC1 was the only Battlefield games this gen with an actual worthy single player campaign. Not taking itself too seriously + the gold as a story device made an intriguing and worth story to play.

Yes, the multi was a bit shallow compared to other battlefield games, but ...

Between GTA V on the console and Rome: Total War II, September leaves very little time for anything else. This month is PACKED, but excellent titles like the new Amnesia will have to wait for clearing the backlog first.

Witcher 2 indeed did an amazing job. Maybe not next gen, but the best looking 3rd person game on the PC.
The thing is, a short while after that they somehow managed to also pull the best looking third person game on a console this gen - and that was with a mere port. It wasn't close to PC level graphics, but still absolutely impressive. I can only imagine what they will be able to pull on next gen hardware.

Upgrading HD is obviously the WORSE option for three reasons:
1) If you now buy a 1TB internal hard drive, you lose your existing 500GB hard drive since you can't use both. Having an external hard-drive solves this problem meaning no wasted 500GB just because you wanted to upgrade.
2) External hard drive gives you flexibility since you can easily plug it out, go to your friends house, plug it in and play all of your games there simply by logging in with your account - and ...

@thekhurg

It amazes me how people can act like such arrogant turds yet keep failing so miserably.

Seriously? You're asking me about reading comprehension!? Read the goddamn Edge article, which clearly states THEIR CRITERIA for choosing what qualifies for a console INTRODUCED in the past 20 years. Why making a fool out of yourself making absurd comments when it's so easy to spend two minutes on the internet to read the original article before you reply...

Probably one of the dumbest comments I've seen considering this is a game developed for current gen consoles as well: The lowest common denominator will probably be the PS3. While looking visually stunning, it's not a proper next gen only game.

Does it matter how long it lasted!? I can still play my NES and my Atari. But it doesn't change the fact the article is talking stricly about consoles made in the past 20 years. Learn the difference.

Also, the X360 catalog is much bigger than the NES catalog: It's about twice as big.

"By all accounts, it was only a handful that had good relations with them"
Quite the contrary. From the devs who signed up with Microsoft Games Studios for an exclusive deal, only a few spoke against it. Most of the hundreds of developers had a good experience, and many came back for another exclusivity deal: from Klei to The Behemoth.

"Xbox fans pretty much only touted Gears, Halo, and Forza."

While you're basically just being nostalgic here (the SNES had some amazing games but can't hold a candle to the X360 catalog, not to mention the amount of innovation offered by each console) - you missed the whole "PAST 20 YEARS" headline. The SNES is older than that.

HUMA is just a buzzword for Cache Coherency implemented by AMD.
And it's not that much of a big deal: My Samsung Galaxy 3 (and any equivalent ARM based phone) has the same thing.

Well... the Steambox is a console, but your argument is invalid regardless.

Steam is a content distribution network - exactly like Xbox live. Microsoft's vision was that every Xbox live game on the Xbox one will be attached to the service, which is exactly like the vision Valve put with Steam and how every steamworks game on the PC is attached to the service.

Doesn't matter if you bought it in a store or online - you get the exact same digital benefit...

It was never odd outside the realm of Sony...

After all, the NES was famous for including Super Mario - one of its best games - with every console. Nintendo continued with that tradition up until the WiiU today. Similarly the Atari had pac-man game included, but I'm not sure if it was there from day one. Sega followed suit and even with the Dreamcast I had Sonic Adventures bundled with the console.
Actually, even the X360 also came with Hexic HD bundled with every...

It doesn't need FCC approval for mass production because it's not made in the US.
Only once the retail model is actually imported to the US to be sold there the FCC approval is required.

Funny how indies on the Xbox 360 were a "nice little addition", while games like state of decay are still setting new sale records in 2013. Indie are still prospering and prime on the 360, which has nurtured some of the most successful ones in the past 7 years.

The PS4 "indie support" mostly seems to sum up as paying up for a few timed exclusives, and that's about it. I didn't see any new developers there - just ones who already made a name for the...
