There's still a big difference here. While Fable games didn't fulfill many promises made during development, they still came out eventually and turned out to be excellent games: much more original and much better overall than your typical game. The second one especially.
Milo on the other hand is a completely unfulfilled promise (Like BC before it). It started out with tons of hype but then was completely buried without even seeing the light of day and letting the ga...
Exactly, nobody even heard about BBB nor do people pay them attention. This seems like another yet website seeking from hits running a crusade against a gaming company: in this case CinemaBlend even publicly admits they're on a crusade against Capcom.
As for the BBB itself, just for comparison:
Ubisoft hold a rank of A++ although there are 74 complaints against it compared to Capcom's 42. And remember it's ubisoft we're talking about with they're a...
Making this connection is pretty stupid. The fake dante inferno protest was carried after prior PR messages to the press so everyone knew what this is about, it was just a marketing PR/AR game where the marketing company (and not EA themselves) also sent the press kits representing the seven sins. Everybody new they were "playing" an AR game.
It was actually a very well carried PR stunts. EA had far worse ones like the "free gas" for mercenaries 2, not to mention o...
I actually found RE5 to be zero boring and zero generic, so I'm pretty happy to hear from someone who didn't play neither game conclude that this games will be three times as much.
Says someone who never even played it. That's probably how you make your opinion on all the games you comment on which you obviously never played.
Why use CE2 on the PC where it's utterly inferior to CE3 BOTH performance wise and technological wise!? You don't really make any sense.
Wait, so why aren't you asking Sony to port Killzone 1 to the PS3? After all, what's the purpose of giving 2/3 of the story to someone?
It will probably be easier, since Killzone 1 was funded by Sony - unlike Mass Effect which was FUNDED by Microsoft and thus will probably not see the light of day on PS3. (please note the difference between "funded" and "published" people who bring up games like NGS).
Anyway, this sounds completel...
The guy isn't pro Halo, he's just a douche who tries to get as many site hits as possible.
If he was pro Halo:
1) He'd admit COD actually does some very good things with the multiplayer and other games can learn from that.
2) He'd listen to the podcasts which clearly clarify what Halo 4 brings, and these things are as far away from COD as possible.
How is for example in-match weapon dropouts copying COD when COD has preset weapon loado...
From Ashes as in Mass Effect DLC!?
@Almir908,
Don't you find it hilarious that you're actually asking me not to count "games from different studios" or "remakes", where at the same time you didn't even bother to ask KingOptimus why he's counting remakes and games from different studios when he call the Halo franchise "milked"!?
After all, Halo Wars, Halo Reach, Halo Anniversary (which is also a remake) and the upcoming Halo 4 are from four different studios: Bungie...
Hitler is already dead and there's a pretty unanimous agreement that he was a tyrant, which is a bit different from a game set to kill people who are still alive which can be considered hate speech (although I'm pretty there are plenty of flash games where you can kill Obama or Bush).
There's actually nothing new about this as Wolfenstein 3D already let you kill Hitler about two decades ago. And games like Civilization let you kill Abe Lincoln and yet nobody protests again...
So 6 Halo games since 2007 including one remake is considered as milking....
... then how about 6 God of War games since 2007: 2 for the PS3, 2 for the PSP and then the first two games on a bundled HD remake for the PS3 as well. Talk about milking, huh? remaking a 2007 game in 2009 sounds to me pretty much like a textbook definition of milking.
And I'm not even counting the upcoming rumored GOW4 which will add to the tally or the GOW betrayal phone game. At least ...
Is this for real!?
There are currently around 200 games offering 4 player split screen (competitive or co-op) on the Xbox 360 and that is EXCLUDING sports games, otherwise the list grows to around 300:

There's no equivalent list for the PS3 that I know of, but the numbers shouldn't be so different since many games in that list are mult...
@fei-hung,
As for me "being a troll" and not ever playing GOW3, funny how I just recently mentioned it in my top 5 gruesome character deaths (prior to this discussion):

So... yeah. Right. Keep trying.

You said yourself that consoles net them 10%-20%, which is not far from my 25% estimate. My estimate includes however the money that MS pays shops like Best Buy for promotions. As an ex worker you are probably aware that retailers charge money for premium shelf space, on store promitions and stuff like appearing in the store brochures and leaflets.
The thing is: even if the store didn't make any money from the console, Do you think that what is basically a triple core Pow...
It worked out pretty well for Bungie. It doesn't seem like they died out...
But then again, why should Microsoft buy these studios? It makes more sense to just invest in their IP based solely on a partnership and then nurture them without having to manage them.
This approach both saves money since there's less corporate overhead, gives the developers greater freedom, and with time it benefits all kinds of games and not just Xbox console owners:
If a base 200$ console nets 115$ in profit, and you subtract from the total the retail share (which should account for at least 50$ or 25% in the usual case), it means that the costs of the console to Microsoft (including parts, manufacturing, assembly, packaging and shipping ) is less than 35$!
Makes sense? Nope. But then again Patcher never did make much sense with his past statements...
@Lilioups,
I think you are mixing "main story" with "in your face cgi cutscenes".
You do have a main story in the Elder Scrolls series. Sometimes it's not that good (Oblivion) but it's still there, with nuances and with very deep lore backing it up - something which few other games actually invest in.
Perhaps it just doesn't feel "as long" because of the non linear nature of the game, and the huge breadth it o...
Are you serious!?
You are claiming that unreal cannot compare with inhouse engine, and then as an example for Unreal mediocre performance you compare God of War 3 to Castlevania LOS which in fact WAS AN INHOUSE ENGINE (and mainly developed towards the PS3) and has nothing to do with Unreal Engine!?
(Unless by GOW3 you actually meant Gears of War 3 and not God of War 3which then just contradicts your statement)
In fact, both examples aren't good examples f...
I think you're mixing it up with Bungie. They actually have a well laid plan for world domination in 7 steps, after which they will shoot enemies into the sun with a giant slingshot:

That's even how they advertize jobs in their site...
