I don't see any difference between Reach bullshots and any other "standard" game bullshots. There are no touch-ups, just max LOD and super-sampling which obliterates any aliasing you might notice. Aren't people aware that you don't really need a list of mascots to create a proper SB like brawler? I don't think people hate the series, they just bring up a very good argument (or at least some of them do) why the actual usage of "nanomachines" in the series is similar to the usage of midichloreans in Star Wars to explain "the force". This list, just like most of the people, is misinterpreting "mature" with violent. Mature content is not necessarily saying the F word a hundred times, nudity scenes or graphic violence.
Movies like Sin City, TV Series like Game of Thrones etc. obviously have all these, but they also deal with actually mature content: ethical dilemmas, conflicts, gray morality etc. It's the ESRB ratings that distilled the meaning of "mature" into sex and violence.
Just Cause 2 is another level IMO, it's my favorite open world game when it comes to just causing mayhem and having fun, probably followed by Saints Row 3 and Crackdown (especially in co-op).

fez is one of the best games I've played this generation. Like Braid, I will classify it more as a puzzle game than a platformer. The concept is relatively unique and it requires some careful planning, thinking and manipulation as opposed to twitching and quick reflexes in most platformers.

You are missing the entire point:
- The 512MB of PS3 RAM is divided and cannot be reassigned to graphics on demand. It's not a share pool like on the Xbox 360 and that's why the graphics card is limited to 256MB. Anything else has to go through bandwidth bottlenecks that severly hamper performance.

Actually, compared to your average shooter - ALL COD games are top notch. They have excellent (albit sometimes short) single player and rock solid multiplayer.
People might find them repetitive but Compared to games like the latest Duke Nukem or COJ or SOCOM or Bodycount they're all gems.
