It was a misunderstanding of the Eurogamer reporter: MS demands that simultaneous releases will be identical CONTENT WISE - and Sony does exactly the same.
It means that if a game is late for the Xbox (or for the PS3) it will have to offer extra content otherwise MS/Sony will block it.
Some notable Xbox examples: Unreal Tournament (extra maps), Virtua Fighter 5 (online), Joe Danger (special edition)
Some notable PS3 examples: Bioshock (challenge rooms), Castle Crashers...
All of these have far better alternatives. They are mentioned there for their nostalgic value only.
Just the three games I was looking for in such a list.
I think it's more of "getting old" rather than "growing up".
As in Lethal Weapon: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I'm actually more interested in the unannounced games:
1) New game from Bungie
2) New game from Respawn
3) Half Life: EP3 / Half Life 3
4) Epic new Unreal Engine 4 based game
5) Baldur's Gate 3
I'm actually hoping to see the expansion DLC they promised for Rage

You are aware that you DO pay the gas station attendant money, right? His salary comes out of the money you pay for gas. That's why some self-serving gas stations charge you less...
This sounds like a bunch of bull: throw all kinds of rumors at the wall and see what sticks.
The thing that makes least sense and probably classifies this rumor as false is the 4K resolution: even if you want the console to be like 10 years futureproof this doesn't sound reasonable.
This is because the 4K standard is 4096 x 2304 in cinemas. This is over 4 times 1080p which current consoles don't really handle bar a few games, or over 8 times the resolution of ...
Killzone was also over-hyped as a Halo killer, and while not living up to the name it still turned out as a much better game than Haze.
IF you want games in Feudal Japan you can play the Genji or Way of the Samurai series. Both turned up quite crap (or crab, in case of Genji...) so I'm actually more happy with an American revolution setting. Can't recall any game I played in that setting, so it's obviously more original.
Because Kotaku don't know what they're talking about. The actual phrase they used was "Kinect-like motion-sensing device", but Kinect is not a motion sensing device, it's (primarly) a depth sensor.
So they got it wrong anyway, but I guess that the general assumption is that Sony will finally move to using 3D depth sensing technology as well (or something equivalent), and not use a simplistic RGB camera for 3 generations in a row.
They don't look very wide to me...
Don't worry, it's actually the non game who should be ashamed for missing out on all of the games
It's amazing how the original interview from electronictheatre and a not so grabbing headline gets 3 comments:

while cinemablend with their flamebait headline to an "article" which is basically just quoting from the electronictheatre interview gets so many comments...
... And the comments are mostly from fanboys and trolls. ...

Aren't MadWorld and Manhunt about the same general principle, just with less kids and more violence?
Well, I guess we can argue about that too. While we're told that Marston did some bad things in his past, we can take a very cautionary approach in the game and most of the stuff we do there is not considered all that bad (especially considering the era and how the law worked back then). He is mostly portrayed as a good person in the game, and eventually he also finds his redemption.
When we play Niko on the other hand in GTA IV, he's coming from a similar shady backg...
I partially agree with gypsygib: Having a few metric bars is always a good thing. Although I'd think that a comparison of 85+ games (excellent games) and 75+ games (good games) is a nicer threshold to have.
And there's also the issue where some multiplats are getting slightly different score because of different review outlets for each console, so it's possible that a game on one platform will get 80 and be included, while the identical game on another platform will get 79...
To be honest, RDR was an amazing game but I never felt very compelled by the animal hunting prospect. It didn't feel all that satisfying, and more than actually enjoying it I was annoyed when some wild cougar jumped at my horse out of nowhere in the middle of an actual mission, and killed me before the character could even get up.
It's even harder with Nvidia blocking their own cards from the ability to use Physx when used together with an ATI card as a primary video card...
I understand why developers don't like this. Vendor locked technologies that block their potential audience aren't worth investing time in
