I heard that the Keepers in the Citadel take care of that.

I don't know Mista, so far the PS3 is kind of lagging behind in terms of how good 2012 was until now:
Journey, Starhawk and Twisted Metal are nice, and there's also the Tales of Graces port from the Wii and the artsy Closure game - but that's mostly it so far. Or did I miss anything?
There are many announced titles, but almost none of them have a firm release date and we don't even know if they'll make it in 2012. So it's a big question mark...

By playing a beta, you are basically working for the game developer in QA without getting payed for it, with your only compensation being early access to some of the game.
And if people have no problem doing this for free, it makes sense that some might even consider paying money. It's a free world and their entitled to do what they want with their money.

Scripted events, when done properly, are a very good thing. Take a look at half life games for example.

I have no problem with the stuff picks, I'm just saying how it's really hard to make a pick considering all the other games released this month :)

Developing software for usage on an onboard computer in a production car! Ok... but why should someone even care about this when talking about games?
It's like saying that Bosch are car enthusiasts unlike all the other greedy corps because they have their ABS system in every car produced in recent years...

Nobody said that Polyphony doesn't have great relationship with car manufacturers. They do, but this doesn't contradict the fact that other developers a...

With Trials Revolution, Fez, The Splatters, Legend of Grimrock, The Walking Dead and Sword & Sorcery - April was a top month for digital distribution games.
The Witcher 2 obviously ruled retail this month, but technically it's just a new edition of a game that was available on the PC in 2011.

Top 1 reason not to bother with top 10 lists:
1. The split 10 petty images over 10 different web pages.

Wow, it's pretty sad that you even think that the people in companies like SimBin, Turn 10 or Slightly Mad Studios, with all their dedication to racing sims, are not real car enthusiasts.

It wasn't THAT groundbreaking actually: The Outfit is a 2006 game (from the people behind COH and Warhammer games) that introduced similar Action+Strategy blend.

No counter arguments or lists to prove me wrong? I guess that settles is then.

I don't think anyone is making fun of anyone, but this kinda makes sense, doesn't it? The fact that every game can be (optionally) installed to the hard drive or even to a USB disk pretty much shows why Bluray or any other format is not really necessary even for games bigger than what one DVD can hold. I reckon that next gen alsmot every game will be available digitally or even via cloud storage.

MS also opened a vast array of new studios lately, with most of them not releasing any game on the X360 so far. It makes sense that most of them have already moved to next gen development. Not to mention many of the top exclusive games coming out this gen are from third party developers, so who knows which studios Microsoft signed deals with for the next gen?

Also, since the last E3 The following games were released on the X360 (excluding kinect games) which...

Speaking of Jews, I was expecting the article to compare them to the Quarians, given how they were expelled and lived in exile for thousands of years, keeping their tradition and wishing to get back to their original home. But I guess that doesn't let the writer use the Shylock punchline.

I think that the general notion was that Killzone 3 while being more polished (better AI, better controller input), it also lacked some of the Killzone 2 unique personality that people grew into.
Even with the scifi theme it was harder to distinguish it from the rest of the modern FPS iron-sight counterparts.

And while Killzone 2 was considered a graphics powerhouse at the time, the third game didn't boast a significant jump so it wasn't judged as a game pushi...

That's because COD games are considered to have amazing (if sometimes short) single player player experience. What you get in COD games is a AAA blockbuster action with a superb cast, Hollywood score, around-the-world encompassing story and over the top action summer movie feeling.
Why not review it as what it is? A MP game with a SP that serves as a tutorial. I have yet to see a COD single player campaign to be negatively reviewed. The only complaints I've s...

This is because betas are there for helping the developers improve their game, it's not there for you to evaluate the quality of the game.
People are just confusing betas with demos

@jony_dols, the score for Stahawk is pretty good in that regards if you compare it to other multiplayer oriented games.
Check for example the scores for games like Frontlines: Fuel of War or Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Both got mixed review scores despite top of the line competitive multiplayer component (ET console version also had many bugs, but that's on top of campaign).

For many reviewers, having a luckluster single player campaign that doesn't offer any...

This game, LBP, Halo (thanks to the Forge mode), Modnation Racers - this is the future of console gaming. Games which not only offer excellent quality out of the box for single player and multiplayer, but also lets the community unleash their own creativity.

But out of these, Trials Revolution should be treasured the most, because it brings all of this for a mere 15$ price tag - delivering quality and quantity that most 60$ retail games don't come close to.
