I have no idea how anyone with a pair of eyes actually managed to press the agree button on Dante112's comment.
Now new IP's? Microsoft announced 3 new IPs for 2013: Ascend: New Gods, LocoCycle and Matter. I Don't recall any other publisher announcing 3 completely new IPs this E3.

It didn't look even close to the AC Anvil engine: the lighting looks like completely different, and stuff like these reflections was never in the Anvil engine (or any other engine to date except the UE4 demo).

The game also doesn't look more scripted than any GTA game: the map indicates pretty much an open world game, with some event being triggered based on mission progress. But all the other stuff (civiliains going around etc) looks completely unscripted

Actually, so far it plays much better than what I came to expect from a Metal Gear game, at least according to demos - no more humping the floor between cutscenes. Platinum games truly know how to make badass games.

Going head to head vs Forza Horizons, from all the information we have now make it seemss like this one will be the better of the two. Probably the first time a Forza game is not going to be the racing GOTY in a year it's being released.

Wow, they actually mentioned 100% current gen games and experiences, while at the same time didn't even mention the new engine from Square Enix!? Such a fail article

I already said it myself on a previous comment on the game:
It's a 110/-10 for anything VS Watch Dog. Nothing on this show even came close to the stunning graphics of this game.

Not to mention, besides their own show, some of the best games on the MS/Sony/Nintendo show also came from Ubisoft.

Actually Heavy Rain started as a multiplat developed on the PC (with Physx) before Sony realized they need an exclusive and payed an undisclosed sum for exclusivity of this game. It seemed to work fine for them since they kept the deal for this game as well.

Indeed.
They presented about half the number of games as we've seen in the Microsoft press conference which wasn't considered very good in the first place (and both of them demoed some multiplatform games anyway).

Actually, the show had 8 exclusives: halo, gears, forza, fable, dance central and the three new XBLA games.
Not sure what's the status on Splinter Cell - can anyone shed some light?

Guess you somehow missed the trailers for halo 4, splinter cell, forza, fable, gears...
Better check your eyesight then.

Yes, he should have put "Jelly?????" instead. Has more impact.

And is he aware that about 90% of the Xbox games are in fact region free?

If by "skill" game you mean "only the ability to aim a precise gun using an analog stick and the hell with everything that makes the game more complex and layered" then the answer is probably yes. Operating The brut-shot however required tons more sophistication and skill than the sniper or BR.

Adding layers of complexity in the form of things like perks just requires the player to be more skillful in more fields, hence making the game more interesting an...

None of the comments above them are bashing anyone, but the comments below definitely do. Did they actually foresee the future or just noticed a predictable pattern in N4G comments?

Doesn't matter that the Natal was just concept: The best E3 moment at for Sony was probably the Killzone 2 CGI trailer in 2005, which was just as fake (only that one was claimed to be in game by Sony PR in the first place before admitting their mistake). That Killzone 2 trailer is probably the trailer that got people hyped the most about this new gen back in 2005.

Staying on topic, it's also quite funny how people take this list as a "word of god" and then u...

@ksense:
While I totally disagree with Jazz (or any lunatic who claims either Sony or Microsoft are milking ips), it's still funny how you mention heavy rain, heavenly sword, starhawk, modnation, little big planet - since at least one of these titles is based on a PS1 IP (I'll let you guess which one ;).

But didn't Microsoft also introduce the Mass Effect, Gears of War, Crackdown, Alan Wake, Kameo, Lost Oddysey, Blue Dragon and various others this gen? And...

That's because you're still playing the wrong games.

But the WiiU has all that: shoulder buttons and triggers, dual analogs, a DPAD and buttons. The touch screen is just an additional perk that might become useful.
And the controller is supposed to come with the system, so I don't see where the problem is. You make no sense at all.
