Well there are framerate drops, and there are "framerate dropped so badly that I had to restart". I don't recall having to restart anything on the X360 version nor the PC version like the article mentions here.

The Wii is pretty much a last gen console because it shares the exact same architecture with the GameCube (two GCs ductaped together anyone?) and only offers a new interface.

So for the exact same reason the redesigned Xbox Kinect revision and the new Playstaion+Move revision are not "next gen" because they offer a new interfaces, the Wii isn't a current gen console. It's a last gen console which sold pretty well (not as well as the PS2 though).

They didn't just tell them, they actually showed them.

Anyway, this article is pretty pointless and conspirative: when a company buys another company, the first thing they sign is that key talent must stay on board for a certain period of time. Otherwise they are simply risking buying an empty shell of a company since everyone can leave at once. Key people leaving Epic now is actually an indication this is not going to happen.

Not to mention: Epic's b...

But why would Xbox 360 and PS3 owners who skipped the Wii buy a WiiU in the first place? It currently doesn't offer any proper new experiences, most of the multiplats actually perform worse, and the narrow selection of current exclusives wouldn't matter in the first place: if someone wanted a Nintendo console for Nintendo games, they would have picked up the original Wii already (and for a much cheaper price).

This bundle is not supposed to save them - especially if people keep paying 5$ for it.

What it is supposed to do is build an established relationship with you as a customer: THQ was nice to you and offered some great games from their back catalog. All you have to do is play them.

After trying these games, did you like Darksiders? If so, how about buying the sequel now to show your support and play another great game?
did you like COH? Or perhaps Metro...

Hey look! It took me 20 Million dollars and three years to make a new AAA game and create a single copy. Imagine how much time and money it will now take me to make a million copies of the same game :(

Ever heard of economies of scale?

@Jinkies
Wrong 1: Gears was already shown behind close doors to other developers before GDC 2005 - it was a selling point of the new unreal engine. And regardless of motion capture, ND didn't show any cover based gameplay until way after Gears introduced this mechanic.
And it was identical - with the exact same cover to cover manouvers, something that was never shown before gears. You don't have to be such a fanboy: admitting that Uncharted copied the mechanics from ge...

Even for 1$ you are making a profit, assuming you cover the cost of digital storage and bandwidth.
Once a game is out in a digital format, there are virtually no more expenses: the more you sell the more you earn.

We've already seen full priced games released this year discounted on digital channels to 10$ and sometimes even 5$. This is because money is always to be made - even at these price points.

Newsflash: the two things which made Tomb Raider are left boob and right boob.

Article is quite shallow. Example:
"All OUYA games are free to download. There is no such thing as a “paid app” This means games will have a free demo or level before a paid experience begins. This model used to be called “shareware”"

No, the games are not free to download, and are not actually sharable. They simply have a demo.
This model is called "having a demo", and it is employed by many games since ever, and practically every XBLA gam...

Funny how people call something "devil may cry good" when only referring to Devil May Cry 1 and 3 , but completely ignoring 2 (especially) and 4.

I loved the demo. I also loved DMC games in past gen - but my standards were much lower back then and a lot of progress in H&S games was made since.
In my opinion when comparing current gen games, DMC4 lags behind both HS and Enslaved - not to mention Bayonetta which is at a class of its own. The new DMC demo i...

Answers:
Hardware 20x more powerful than the PS3 (or X360, which is for the most part more powerful) should now cost less than PS3/X360 originally launched for. This is because Moore's law on how performance for the same price doubles about every 18 months.
Since we had the current gen running much longer than previous gen, it is expected to have next gen console which is 20x more power costing less than last gen consoles originally did. We should be expecting around x40 ...

Game demo was excellent, and way better than the sour taste the DMC4 demo left this Gen.

Not to mention Capcom lost Mikami to Platinum at the end of last gen, with Bayonetta being the proper H&S for people who like a challenging game. NT have much more experience this gen crafting quality H&S games this gen than Capcom.

Each iteration of Forza is bringing up more new content in 2 years then most racing franchises bring over in a decades. Sales over similar timeframe also show an increase in each franchise iteration.

Most of these games (/portS) have less than 20 reviews which make the sample too small to consider. Gameranking for example does not include games with <20 reviews by default when listing the best games.

Out of this whole list, ME3 is the only game with a decent number of reviews.

"This guy"!?
Edge reviews don't even carry the reviewer name, so how is he making a name for himself?

An 8 is a great score, especially in Edge terms. True, they gave ODST a 9 but that was back in 2009 and expectations went up since then. ODST was actually a very good game by itself.

The review does seem to lack on the multiplayer front however: just a single paragraph on loadouts and such and nothing truly revealing, and nothing on the ...
