ssj27, way for misunderstanding a joke and going completely off-topic.
But while were at it and misinformed people: I can understand some paranoia towards doctors from people who are too illiterate to understand how biological processes work. But are you seriously that delusional to think that ALL vaccinations are there to kill you!?
Do you even have the slightest background in life sciences and biology to even grasp how a vaccine works? Care to explain what happened ...
I sadly don't see KH coming in the near future: Since Disney now have their own game publishing wing (something they didn't really care for in the past), negotiating publishing and development rights for their vast array of characters will be an IP nightmare.
Yeah, it probably comes right before electricity, sanitation, and vaccinations. who needs all of those when you can play games?
Oh wait.
The funny thing is, even if your games don't make my own top 5 list (Planescape, Bioshock, BG2, Braid, Gabriel Knight) each of your mentions still tops all the other games in that list combined.
Some of these games have the narrative depth of a Mario game, whereas others have absurd writing. The only game there with solid writing all the way through is To The Moon.
@bishop
Are you serious? Michael is nothing like Vercetti, nor any other character I had a chance to play in a GTA game (or outside it, I think). Playing a rich 40 years in mid-life crisis with a wife and two kids? I'm all in.
I love it how people argue with ALLWRONG here, yet he simply asks everyone to look at the actual valid stats and facts. Some people moan how most of the stuff coming from MS is Kinect shovelware, while others complain that MS used to push out more games in the past but that trend changed in recent years.
So let's see how things stuck up on Metacritic publisher rankings - only in the last 3 years (post Kinect shovelware:
2012:

Have you ever tried running an 1080P projector on a full 10ft wall? The resolution is just too low for the size, and the picture is just not focused enough. Not to mention your FOV is impacted because you are sitting too close.
With a TV+Projector combo you win both worlds: A mauch sharper image on the center screen (lower size means higher DPI), with amazing effects processed separately on the bigger projection screen. And since your eyes are centered on the higher DPI scree...
"I've always heard gamers and people say they wish video games and sometimes movies weren't so linear"
It must be a really uninformed bunch of gamers. Non-linear gameplay is a common trait of any RPG game, as well as many graphical adventure games and visual novels. Or actually going a few decades back - all the way to text adventures such as Zork.
Games such as the ones David Cage makes are simply a reduction of this formula: stripping the...
Nullifying what makes a game unique into a "Rinse & Repeat" formula can be applied to any game, including some of the greates games there are:
Mario: Jump platforms. Kill Goombas. Jump platforms. Kill Goombas.
Gears of War: Flush enemies. Take Cover. Flush enemies. Take Cover.
Halo: Shoot enemies. Drive vehicles. Shoot enemies. Drive vehicles.
Half Life 2: Shoot enemies. Solve gravity puzzles. Shoot enemies. Solve gravity puzzles.

Bioshock Infinite or GTA V - doesn't matter: One game is already out and we all know what to expect from the quality of the second one based on developer track record. Take Two are already primed for 2013 Publisher of the year awards.
Which is a pretty solid record, considering how in 2012 they were rightfully also the publisher of the year, having released both Borderlands 2 and XCOM (among others, but these two really excelled).
I guess that the bride is going to kill Bill (pictured above) in this game?
I seriously don't get the fuzzy logic behind articles such as this one (well, coming from a website called "society and religion" maybe I shouldn't expect much, not to mention the ignorant commentators here claiming which console is targeting casuals and which is targeting hardcore gamers.
For example, the writer specifically mentions "EA is the worst publisher ever and Ubisoft is copy pasting their business model, I don’t want to be stuck with just the...
Hilarious. Someone actually mentions " 2560 1440 with full anti aliasisng 8* and on very high preset" in an article about a Metro game. I almost cracked myself.
Need I remind the fanboys that at this resolution, the last Metro game can't even keep 30fps very high preset on a PC equipped with a 1000$ 690GTX. And that is at 4xMSAA, not 8x....
So how is anyone expecting a new Metro game which is far more demanding to actually be playable at this re...
And what exactly will they put up in such a VS article? Simcity 5?
First Person games are quite different from each other already: Battlefield and COD spawned a few military shooter clones (class based and non class based) but most don't get close to their high bar and we're not forced to play them.
In the meantime, Halo offers a completely unique experience that is nothing like these military shooters (or Tribes, if once again you wish to opt-out for a class based game).
Borderlands takes a completely different approach as a co-op fp...
Live Gold WAS MS cash cow, but I highly doubt about the future: When Xbox 360 came out there was no other console to compete with it's online, and it took the PS3 a few years to even get close. So people got used to paying money for online, and eventually they had all their friends there and so they didn't want to jump ship.
But this time things are different: Sony came prepared, and they are not charging for online gaming. If Microsoft doesn't offer free online g...
It's not an error and it makes sense: it's a matter of supply and demand. Judgement is high on supply, yet no second hand stores in amazon even sell it (probably some microsoft policy) and so there is no point in having a second hand copy:

Pretty weird, but unlike most gam...
There are survival horror games nowadays, but they mostly play on the PC.
With what they plan for Watchdogs it seems to me that playing offline will only offer fraction of the experience. I still want the capability to play when the internet is out, but they seem to take online interaction to a new height and build on top of what was good in games like Journey and Dark Souls and Red Dead Redemption with the rockstar club thingy. It doesn't feel like the forced always-online of games like diablo and simcity.
Seriously? You actually bought a WiiU, which is probably the most game-barren console in the past decade or so.
We know it's lacking in the games department so you didn't make this purchase based on actual catalog - perhaps just based on future promises. In that case, how hard will it be to sell you a next-gen console that actually aims up high?
