Sound like BS!

This game appears to run at 15-20 FPS when the action picks up undocked. I wouldn't call this port amazing when it's running below PC low settings at 20 FPS. I mean I wouldn't call Doom 2016 on the PS3 with low res texture, loading every 300 feet, and sub 30 FPS impossible or amazing.

I've always liked the way Cry Engine handle skin textures, and dense environments, but Frostbite, and Unreal 4 has surpassed Cry Engine with their versatility and performance. I still think Cry Engine animation is 2nd only to Naughty Dogs Uncharted engine, Unreal and Frostbite both looks stiff in comparison.

If so, please go back to RISC based CPUs! IBM's Power 9's are looking pretty damn good right now, and IBM developed the previous generation CPUs which lasted over ten years. AMD SOC hasn't really worked out on their desktop, or consoles with performance issues forcing mid cycle refreshes. Keep AMD as the GPU manufactures because GCN architect more useful for consoles than PCs in my opinion but dump their CPUs.

I agree, power of Nvidia's 1070 including 4K BR player in a box costing just $500. By comparison my phone cost me $725 (LG V20), tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab Note) cost me $300 at the time, and original Xbox One cost me $500.

I hope they improved character models. Last showing looked abit rough (I know its early) which quelled my excitement for this title.

I can recall 2013/15 MS had the games and people screamed resolutions and power. Now they're focusing on power and people scream games with E3 right around the corner. When MS comes out swinging they will say too little, too late, and it's not all about games. I can already see this one coming, they will complain it's too expensive despite typing on a phone costing twice as much. Every MS exclusive I would see comments like another Gears, another Halo, Crackdown cloud computer and...

Nice! I wonder why MS just didn't make the GPU 1200 MHZ and the CPU 2400? Every cycle helps, especially the CPU. I would have preferred to have seen clock speeds at 2.66 ghz or third more power given the lack of IPC performance of the Jaguar core.

Oh yes it does for the vast majority of gamers. 1080P is the standard gaming monitor by an wide margin. Until 4K overtake something like 1440P, anything higher than a 1060 or AMD 580 is wasting money unless you want to run 144hz at 1080P. As mentioned, you can pay $1000 plus for a graphics card Nvidia will cripple the following year to make their $400 graphics card with lower power consumption look more tantalizing. High end graphics cards makes no sense when most modern PC games are designed...

I have Seagate 2 TB Firacuda 7200 RPM Hybrid after upgrading from 1 TB 5400 RPM Seagate Hybrid which is now on my PS4 Pro.

Unfortunately all that power goes to waste as they're almost never fully taken advantage of the graphics card unlike consoles. Four times the performance is good for FPS, but you probably won't see four times the visual splendor for four years. Nvidia is particularly bad about supporting their previous generation. In one generation I've seen $400 graphics cards match the previous $1000 graphics card. The Pascal 1070 is almost as fast as the Maxwell Titan, the 970 is comparable to ...

Sorry but no current graphics card is built like the Scorpio. The GPU is a hybrid between Polaris and Vega which makes it unique. DX12 is reportedly built into the hardware itself, draw calls down to 11 instead of thousands and unified memory instead of segmented. I also think the purpose of Scorpio is take existing assets from XB1 and render at 4K resolution with greater than 4 times the memory and GPU performance or what is needed for 4K. Consoles can typically punch above their weight or G...

Not bad, but the PS4 game The Order 1866 from 2014 looks comparable on significantly less powerful hardware with more characters, and background objects onscreen. I mean a single character swaying in a room filled with almost nothing? Show the scenes near the end with the giant demons, and metal statues fighting, or the epic battler in the beginning if you want to impress me.

They have their own channel objectifying themselves. Here's the link! Some of them are fine as hell, others a little too damn fat. https://www.youtube.com/use...

They're objectifying themselves, nobody's making these rather rotund women walk around in bathing suits playing Mobile Strike. In fact, these women have a their own youtube channel objectifying themselves. Have a look! https://www.youtube.com/cha...

Editor seem a bit but hurt in my opinion to bring up a $700 by itself 1080Ti graphics card, and the Switch has all but one title worth a damn out for it. I asked for the for Scorpio to go along with my PS4 Pro connected to my 65 inch OLED 4K set. I was pondering buying the 1080 TI but $700 just for the damn graphics card? Get real Darren, if you want to double 6 TFLOPS you have to upgrade to the Titan whatever which cost more than double without the ability to play UHD movies. I'll pay $6...

I'm glad DF got the scoop, the clowns at IGN, and Gamespot are not the most technical people to understand all the details of Scorpio. Their write up would have consisted of 6 TFLOPs, 8 core 2.3 GHZ CPU, 1.172 GHZ GPU, 1 TB hard drive, and their PC is faster. Like Machinima, IGN and Bloodspot complained about the games despite all the heavy heaters MS has released since launch instead of deep diving into the specs.

I have the 5400 RPM 1 TB Seagate Hybrid Firecuda on my PS4 Pro, and the 7200 RPM 2 TB Firecuda on my Xbox One S. With this option you do have to load games multiple times before you see a benefit. Final Fantasy for instance took 54 seconds to load 1st time on the hybrid, but after 5 loads it was down to 34 seconds. I loaded for Call of Duty IW, after about two days I went back to FF 15 to level up my characters and it's back to 50 plus seconds to load.

If you have the s...

After watching 30 minutes of bad animation and performance videos I cancelled my pre-order this morning. I'm tired of the Batman AK/Mafia 3/Witcher 3/Home Front Rev titles taking three months or more to fix performance before you can play it. I have the PS4 Pro as well, but I've always purchased Mass Effect titles on the PC. I don't think it's fair to shell out $48-60 for a game shipped broken and wait months before they can fix it. Most of the games listed eventually turned o...

Damn! Talk about unkiller lineup with the exception of Zelda which is also coming out on Nintendo's Wii U as well. I might skip another Nintendo console generation with the Wii U 2.0 looking unappealing at launch. I should probably give up hope seeing Nintendo return to the glory days of N64, and Gamecube at 35 with a kid of my own.
