Beyond 2 Souls does look better from what I can tell in pictures and videos. But I doubt it will be as good as The Last of Us. Watching gameplay videos I wanted to fall asleep, and if its like Heavy Rain count me out. Didn't care for that game too much, traded it in after 2 weeks.

I'm with WalterWJR, the Last of Us looks great for the most part but its kinda inconsistent. Some levels especially the forest levels made my jaw drop. But levels in town during the day had allot of aliasing artifacts, low res textures, and a lack of anisotropic filtering made viewing objects from the side blurry. The non pre baked shadows looked blocky with cascading artifacts as well.

Even without DLC, there's not enough sells to make it worth the developers wild to optimize DLC for the Wii U. Games like Batman the Wii U got the Armor Edition and still sold poorly. Looking at the PS3 and 360, games like Call of Duty has historically gotten DLC first to on the 360 but yet the PS3 version sold almost as much.

Nintendo's hardcore fans only buys Nintendo products, killing third party interest. I wouldn't support a system if it cost me $15 Million to make a game and only sale 30,000 out of 4 million Wii U owners.

Google search Gefore GTX 670 drivers issues, its allot, google search Nvidia drivers making video cards fail, if you want some old driver issues, good search driver problems with the Gefore 6600 GT (Black Bars). I just finished The Last of Us, let me tell you The Last of Us is the best new IP I've played since Mass Effect 1. Naught Dog took advantage of new characters, mixed multiple genres to craft an touching, scary, and thrilling experience. I think I just played the Game of the Year, this game was like reading a good book you just can't put down.

Yeah Nvidia drivers for my GTX 670 was pretty damn crappy for a long time. New games come out, I can't play it without using Beta drivers, installed Beta drivers BSODS. This went on for months, finally 314.XX came out and 320.XX and no more drivers issues. Posted my driver issues on a couple of websites for help, I got attacked. Agree, Nintendo seem to be an generation behind since 2006. But the key is learning from your mistakes so I'm glad Nintendo has finally realized what worked in the 90s cannot and will not work today.
I like Reggie but I think he's off on this one. PS2 was not 5 times weaker than the GC or Xbox. PS2 was probably more less 1.5 weaker than the Xbox and 1.25 weaker than the GC. The only thing Xbox had on the PS2 was Pixel and Vertex shaders allowing for greater special effects. The Gamecube could push higher polygon counts with all features on and had alittle bit more memory, that's about it.

If I was Microsoft I wouldn't waste my time releasing a system that's not going to sell, no matter the software lineup. The first Xbox I get it not a whole lot going for it regarding Japanese gamers. Xbox 360 they came out swinging with RPGs, smaller controller, fighting and racing games. With over 10 years of selling their consoles in Japan, total sales for both Xboxes combined is 2.17 Million units sold.

I don't do handhelds, never purchased one for myself. With that said when I say HD I'm talking about 720-1080P on my 60 inch 3D Plasma blasting through my Sony STR DN840 receiver and Polk Monitor 70's speakers.
I would say high end Xbox (original, thank you MS for XB1 name) graphics. Heck this game belongs on Xbox Live or PSN not retail.
