Getting it on the PS4, I think it might feel kinda weird playing MG5 on my MS system. Well atleast I will have a reason to clean the dust off my PS4 next month with MG Infamous coming out. I can probably include Watchdog in April probably at the end right of the month right before my birth day.
The video quality looks crappy but damn does this game looks fun. Pre-ordering tonight at Gamespot, will probably pre-order Infamous as well.
I will admit Dead Rising is good, I was one of the guys talking crap about it back when I saw videos during E3. DR 3 is probably the best game on XB1, its the game I play the most with KI and then Forza while Ryse is now collecting dust.

With that said I do enjoy the boost in audio quality on XB1 compared to all last gen systems. When you have a good group of friends it makes for a great MP experience.
Oh my God this site must be populated by over sensitive teenagers who argue over 150,000 units or so hardware wise, but yet software lags behind by 600,000 units. Aw man bring back PGR, Forza can kinda boring but PGR is probably my 2nd best racing series behind Need for Speed all time.
Probably not a good move on Ubisoft part. All the people that want to buy it will get it on superior platforms or make potential buyers purchase new systems to play it. Delayed releases usually results in lower overall sales, but to be honest I can't see this selling over 500,000 units before discounts for the Wii U. But hey you never know, this could be the definitive edition when compared to X360 and PS3 and sell 1 million plus.

MS needs them, unlike the previous two generations there's no question about which system is more powerful. What MS don't need to do is copy Nintendo during the Wii days and keep releasing Kinect Sports and gimmick based titles.

Not a big deal, I play my PS4 for SP games anyway, anywho this games so far looks pretty damn good. Besides Watch Dogs and Metal Gear, this is my most anticipated game this year.

Oh yeah, known this for awhile, just worried over saturation might cause the market to crash with 2-6 consoles on the market by 2016. Not enough money or time to spend on all platforms, overall the biggest loser will probably Nintendo since Smartphones games target Nintendo style gameplay and graphics. I'm looking building a Steam Box myself, just waiting until the software matures so I can keep that machine connected to my 3D Plasma and run my home server of the main.
I can see that, happened last gen as well with games being developed with Xbox and PS2 as the lead platforms. When developers are good and done with last gen I expect some amazing looking sound titles come the end of 2015 until this cycle is done. Biggest loser will be the Wii U, made with less than ideal CPU horsepower and ram, paired with a decent DX10+ GPU. I can't see any developers using less than DX11 class engines by 2016 as PS3/XB360 support start to dwindle.
Damn is everybody starting to jump in the home console business. We got Amazon, Valve with their Steam boxes, Samsung, Ouya crap, and I've heard whispers of Apple for the past couple of years. I think Amazon will probably be the most realistic threat since they have started buying home console developers.
I wanted one back in December but those prices being over $100 above what should be, decided to use my video card money to pick up the XBone. Just got paid so I can buy one today but still I feel like I'm wasting money buying something over one third to half its recommended price.
I'm looking either SAPPHIRE TRI-X OC 100362-2SR Radeon R9 290 4GB or ASUS DirectCU II OC R9290-DC2OC-4GD5 Radeon R9 290 4GB. Waiting until the prices return to normal, not going to pay $200 above MSRP because of shortages. I can recall seeing the 290X going for $550 when it first launched but I wanted to wait until OEMs released better coolings fans. I don't want 90 plus degrees celsius from any component in my case.
I got my mines for $29 off Amazon, I have not taken advantage of it besides a couple of free games.
As far as I know most gamers already have PCs, most of them build their own, heck even Walmart specials PCs CPU are not bad they only need a decent GPU. Put any $200 video card or above in a system with AMD 980/Intel I5 3470 or better and you have greater than PS4 power. Keep in mind the PS4 APU only cost between $100 and $130 depending on the source.
With that said, for the next couple of years buying a PS4 or XB1 might be the better investment unless Mantle really takes off...
