Don't waste your time and money MS. After the efforts you guys made with the X360 at launch and still didn't sell, it was clear to me the Japanese stick with their home grown major consoles. Now if I was MS I would gear up for launching XB1 in China! Untested market for home consoles in over a decade.
Mines still look new, but did again I hardly play it. Any who still think the X360 controller from the slim model is the overall gold standard, with XB1 2nd, DS4, SNES, DS3,N64 analog followed by Dreamcast and DS2.
My bad I meant Ryse does when commanding your troops in certain. Didn't pay attention to my phone auto correct.
Zumba works ok, but other then that I'm not a fan. Ryse does not have voice controls but its kinda lame, MS would have better off keeping it as an peripheral.
Technically you can, use current processors, probably need a customized motherboard, and a customized OS. Sega did it with add ons before finally releasing the Saturn. But doing so you have software that can't take advantage of the hardware (Saturn) for two software generation. Besides most of the time manufactures start developing or planning hardware before or around the release of their product, the same with software.
It doesn't have to prove it but its clear Nintendo will be the first of the current manufacturer to release a new console. They simply shot to low in specs for the Wii U, large gaps between quality software releases, and bad marketing. The almighty PS4 has already caught up to the Wii U in the U.S. Not enough developers support, stagnate sales in the biggest gaming market.
Not surprising, I've mentioned Nintendo will either reveal a new console or release a new console in 2015 in multiple posts.
8 hrs, I probably only get between 6-7 hours, purchased 2 meter micro USB from Amazon, but it makes me feel like 2001 using a cord to play my games. I might look into replacing my DS 4 battery if it jumps from 6-7 to 12-14.
Another thing I can't stand with some of these articles is the notion this generation of gaming consoles might be the last. Sales were through the roof from previous generation, next gen is off to an blistering start. MS, and Sony just need to keep decent to great titles rolling or otherwise sales might bottom out like Nintendo.
Talk about being sleepy and not seeing what I was writing. Meant to say "Now if MS is at 3.93 million sold by this time next year then yeah its struggling"
Another hack writer, with over 3 million sold in less than 2 months and in only half the countries and $100-200 more than MS competitors, I don't see how XB1 is struggling. Games so far has been pretty good, I love my KI, surprising DR 3 is good, one of the games I have been very critical about, Ryse is better than expected, Forza 5 is alright, I enjoy Need for Speed better on my PS4. Now is MS is at only 3.93 by this time next year then yeah its struggling.
I think Nintendo should not go the way of Sega. Sega software has become crap, even the all mighty Virtual Fighter and Sonic series no one really cares about any more. Sega is now known for bad movie based games, that usually receives poor review grades and only sells because of the franchise title.
This very same thing would probably happen to Nintendo as their fan base gets older and care less and less about their current franchises. Nintendo should release one more system,...
Oh yeah, just saying some of these articles are ridiculous with this is the last generation, just one system nextgen, will this be MS last system, Nintendo should do software only, will Sony go bankrupt ect. They point out a couple of months out when software sales are on the decline. Next they usually say hardware/software is not as good as last year, never taking into consideration hardware/software over saturation.
Sony,MS release a new revision of their hardware and sale ...
I need to get back to playing BF4, played a little bit this weekend on my laptop after upgrading my ram to 8GB@ 1866MHZ from 6GBs@1333MHZ, this made some of the larger maps more playable with less stutter at medium/high settings. My desktops plays BF4 almost perfect but doing some case mods for the next week or two so its out of commission until then.
For a new generation of consoles why so many doom and gloom articles? Hack writers talk about only being one console in the future like Sony, MS, or Nintendo would just develop for one system using their top end software. On top of that this previous generation hardware sales are over 260 million and counting. If any system is in trouble of going its probably Nintendo, not because of money they make plenty off the 3DS but with dwindling third party support and sales for the Wii U I can see th...
The past generation was the best in terms of sales and longevity, but I don't think this generation has the ability to last that long. All 3 next gen consoles lack state of the art hardware unlike the previous generation. Any who this generation is off to an blistering start, I think over 12 million sold with more than half coming from two consoles released less than 2 months. I can see at the 5 year mark this generation ad last generation having similar sales.
I feel the same way, I was looking at benchmarks when I was debating on upgrading my CPU from I 970 to I7 3930 and noticed my over clock on my CPU and GPU had the same performance if not a little higher. In terms of gaming it still performs within 10 percent of all the latest processors. When I upgrade I want it to be high end enough to where I don't have to worry about performance for at least 4 years.
8 core GDDD4 enthusiasts grade Haswell E should be out later this year. http://www.guru3d.com/news_...
Currently using my old but good I7 970, waiting until Intels next platform comes out with GDDR4 Ram and Octa Core processors.
Why not? Certain companies hardcore fan boys do it for free!
