Damn good game, got it Saturday on XB1. I saw some 6 out of 10s reviews here and there, after playing for about 6 hrs Saturday I would probably rate it 8.5 out of 10. Heck I like Plants versus Zombies GW slightly better than BF4.
This game might be on my to buy list. Didn't care for before but Sony did a good thing by delaying, looks better than the boring Forza 5 I got.
I liked my XB1 launched games, purchased 6 of them compared to only 2 on my PS4.But to XDHAVOK24X point, I do agree so far XB1 has been well worth my $500, only turned on my PS4 three time since I've had the XB1 (12/26/2013) to update firmware and demo NFSR graphics.
What I'm sick of seeing are these trolling writers trying to get attention to their website. One article recommended MS sell XBOX to Nintendo, something I can actually see Sony doing if they continue to b...
Makes sense to me, PS4 and XB1 APUs cost between $100 and $132 including the CPU and Audio processors. Very average next gen consoles but like always next gen consoles drives PC optimization so you will be able to get more out of your new CPU and GPU.
Thats fine by me, not had any problems with field of view using 16:9 aspect monitors to complain about. For people who don't care for this aspect developers should give users the option to chose. To me its more cinematic to see the full screen when gaming. I don't want to look to my lower left and right corners expecting to see my HUD and see black or grey. I don't mind movies in this aspect but keep the games full screen.
4XMSAA is kinda overrated at higher resolutions, its good for 720P, but at most HDTVs native 1080P 2XMSAA is perfectly fine. Even on my PC I hardly ever enable 4XMAA, I like to run close to 120 hz as possible, 4XMSAA usually knocks me down under 75 FPS, while I get over 90 FPS in most games at high settings.
I actually liked the ingame models better than the FMV. This is what I was expecting from next gen consoles, after looking at this game I'm no longer impressed with Metal Gear 5. On my to buy list but not thrilled about the aspect ratio. Now before people start yelling I like my games full screen. I just hope Ready at Dawn gives the users the option to enable 1080P while dropping 4XMSAA for 2X or FXAA.
Yeah this game looks good! I was expecting graphics to look like unlike most of the launch titles except for Ryse. Don't care for the aspect ratio but still on my list, might have to work my zoom function if it gets too irritating.
I think I might skip Titan Fall, looks fun but the more I see thee more I'm not interested. Might wait until it falls to $39.99 with a season pass costing between $20-30.
@ThatOneGuyThere
No, Avengers was full screen, same as the Blu Ray. I just don't care to see video games using black bars. Developers like to claim its for cinematic effects when everybody knows it saves performance. Any who I never said I wouldn't buy this game, its on my list along with Watch Dog, Metal Gear 5, and maybe Infamous. Just saying I would rather have 2X MSAA in full 1080P then cropped 4XMSAA in 800P. Besides rendering 4X MSAA in anything above 900P is a waste of ...
I'm interested in this game but I hope its full 1080P. I don't care to play games with black bars across the top and bottom. If they can't pulling off 1080P drop down to 900P, I just want to see a full screen when I play, or at lest give us the option to stretch fit.
Same boat, since I've purchased my XB1 only turned on my PS4 to update the firmware. But next month planning on getting the rumored 2-5 hrs MG, followed by Watch Dog if it comes out in April. Infamous is a maybe, part 1 was decent, part 2 I didn't care for. Oh this list is incomplete, I guess people forgot about Crimson Dragon and Zumba being in 1080P at 60FPS.
3.4 Million is not bad, faster than its 80 plus million predecessor the first couple of months and at a higher price. With that said MS dropped the ball hard with the graphics performance, but their software has been pretty damn good so far, good enough to make me turn my PS4 only for firmware updates.
Sony on the other hand I give them Kudos to their R&D department, I give Kudos to Sony's Marketing department, and I give Kudos Kazuo Hirai for letting American/Canadi...
I thought the XB1 looked better in most shots, at least the rim lightning effects looked better except for the picture with the tank. The rest had some AA issues on the XB1, not thrilled about the polygon count, I think the X360 is holding back both platforms.
I'm still torn which platform I will pick this up for, well I guess it depends on my friends. Based on this articles my GTX 670 should run this game around 75 FPS or so on my 120hz monitor if the the 6600 can run s...
Agree, XB1 is selling at over twice the rate of the X360 while costing $100 more. XB1 probably will be around 4 million sold which is not bad considering its only available in 13 markets compared to over 50 for the PS4. I wish MS put a little more into it, multi platform games I will either buy on the PC or the PS4 (BF4 PC, Madden 25 PS4, Need For Speed Rivals PS4).
I don't see how this crap gets approved, its pretty clear what editor and the person that submitted this r...
With last gen running this game in 1080P at 60FPS, I feel Rayman Legends should be offered in 4K resolution since both companies claims their next gen products are 6-8 times more powerful than less gen. With that said why ask such technical questions for a game like this? I can see games like Thief, Titan Fall, or Infamous, but Rayman? This games is a step down from Trine 2, played the demo on the X360 and came away not impressed. Trine 2 on the other especially in 3D on the PS4 was very impr...
Nope, like Splinter Cell I never liked Thief games.
My bad, typing this on my phone at work
"It looks but not that good, it sucks 2K games no longer makes baseball games. I can't wait until PS3 and X360 games are no longer influencing next gen titles"
Its looks but not that good, it suck 2K games is not longer makes baseball games. I just can't until PS3 and X360 are no longer influencing next gen titles.
Some of you guys need to get an updated receiver. I've had HDMI in/out receivers since 2009. But its good for legacy users, I found out about the optical limitations when I connected my XB1 to my fiancee parents receiver and only had stereo output. Thought the receiver couldn't handle 5.1 LPCM or DTS audio until I found out about this update.
