It was going for $40 about a month ago is my point. SMDH
Wow you got 4 disagrees for stating a known fact! Idiots on this site now, can't even agree on truths, I mean what exactly are they disagreeing with? Oh let me stop, probably just trollers.
@Tontus
They are not Sony Monica, I expect great things from Sony's premium 1st party teams including Naughty Dog at this years E3. With that said its certainly possible visuals and frame rate can improve, but it could go the other way and downgrade visuals like the first Fable, Far Cry 3, MG4, Halo 2, FF13, and from the looks of it Watch Dog. One major part of optimization, if you can't get the code run efficiently you cut or reduced features I.E, resolution, texture...
The Cell is probably a little bit more customizable than AMD Jaguar cores. The Cell SPU worked almost like DSPs and could actually do pixel shader effects along with other advance shaders. When I took computer science classes almost a decade ago CPUs were limited to vertex shaders in software. Overall depending how you write your code either chip can outperform the other, same with XB1/XB360.
Oh well, pre order my copy of MG5 for the PS4 at Newegg for $29.99
Infamous I say yes, The Order 1866 will probably downgrade the visual a little bit since currently has frame rate issues. I still want a full screen from The Order 1866 as well, I'll take 900P at 2X MSAA to make that happen.
@thekhurg
You never know, patches can be introduced later. I just hope they release a demo so I can decide if I can play 10 plus hours of cropped gameplay.
Why in the hel! is there such a big anti The Last of Us campaign going on? TLOU was one the best games from last gen, I'm sure allot of fans want to see this franchise grow. I would love to see TLOU on my PS4, but nope the gaming media don't want a sequel, don't want a movie, not even a remake.
Lazy developers, if games like Ryse, Watch Dogs,Thief can hit 900P! Add in the performance update recently released all is telling me Konami dropped the ball. I'm getting the PS4 version, shame on you Konami for giving me a reason to buy another PS4 game.
Yeah I wanted to buy AMD R9 290X until everybody started jacking up the price. My Nvidia GTX 670 is still going strong but can longer run games at or near 100 hz with all effects on. Well I'm glad I didn't waste $550 on tech soon to be replaced.
Alright, I'm going to hold off buying a new video card is DX12 is coming out later this year.
He looks more like Alan Wake
@Ducky
I gotcha, thanks for the info but I will probably will still buy the BRD if I get it on XB1. AT&T has data caps now and I don't want 1/5 of my bandwidth being taken up by one game.
Damn 50GBs? No thanks! I'm sticking to my disc if I buy this game. I can have it up and running in about 40 minutes rather than waiting 10 plus hours to download.
Nintendo just needs new leadership, the Wii U is certainly not dead yet with over 5 million sold, they just need more software sales. Maybe Jack Tretton can come over and show Nintendo how its done, Iwata time has passed, he needs to pass the torch and let the west give it a shot. Thats what Sony did, and thats what Sega failed to do, it this point in time it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.
They made it look cartoony, Watchdog visual downgrade is almost as bad as KillZone 2 FMV being passed off as gameplay from 2005 E3. I will wait until the game is released, I hate it when publishers pull this smoke and mirrors crap over consumers.
Talk about a visual downgrade since 2012!
Damn it I was hoping for an April 25th release (BD)
I don't know about superior online, I have enough error codes from connecting to PSN to fill up a small 20 page journal! I will probably get the PS4 version but I'm not happy about 30 FPS for either version. I don't know, I expect the PC version to have UbiSoft normal bugs and crashes for the first 3 months which by that time I will probably done with the PS4 version.
If true I will probably get this on the PS4
Sonic Boom is one good looking game! I thought it was running on PS4/XB1 using the Cry Engine before I knew it was Wii U exclusive.
