Oh I remember when everybody attacked Eurogamer for stating PS4 only had 4.5 GBs of available ram do developers. Calling them fanboys, MS is paying them (It wouldn't surprise me), they don't know what their talking about, according NEOGRAF PS4 has 6GB of ram with 1 GB of flex ram to equal 7. Sony put out a statement not exactly stating how much ram is available to developers and everybody assumed it was 5 GBs after that with 1 GB of flex ram to equal 6.

I was some what disappointed visually with The Last of Us when compared to press AKA Bullshots. It still looked good but had a lot of blurry textures on medium distant objects, seem to lack anistropic filtering in some levels, while using high quality character models to distract from blurry environment textures. Especially in the 2nd level city, followed by the rain level looked pretty bad. But all the forest levels looked phenomenal. Hopefully the PS4 version will be allot more consistent ...
I agree, I would pay $60 again for the better version with DLC I have not play yet for one of the best games last gen. I just don't get all the hate some websites come out with regarding The Last of Us being remade. If Metal Gear, Final Fantasy can get remake without hack writers complaining why not The Last Of Us?
Its more RAM and bandwidth issues than GPU grunt this past generation. Yeah you might have some shader/feature set limitation but polygon count/complexity, AI, and physics, no. The X360 GPU to my knowledge developers never took advantage of X360 Displacement Mapping unit.

I've always said if Sony or MS released the X360 and PS3 with 2 GBs of ram back in 05/06, next gen would probably be more than a year off from now. Extremely powerful consoles for its time, besides ram probably the biggest jump from in technology from the prior generation.

I'm about sick of this game, I've never played any of the Ico related games in the past. The Last Guardian had me interested half a decade ago, but like Prey, Duke Nukem, and DAIKATANA, games stuck in development hell usually turn out to be average to sh!t.

I should have edited my post, I actually sold my PS3 to my sister for my nephews, she paid me more than what the stores were offering at that time. I'm losing interest but I will still buy it. The only question now is which platform to get it for. I'm leaning towards the PC version followed by the PS4 and XB1 depending graphical performance.
Kinect is not bad, actually pretty good when it comes to motion controls. My biggest problem with Kinect is the voice controls. I thought it was because of my accent but my American fiancee is having the same problem. Any who like this article I'm getting sick of seeing "This is the last generation of console articles" crap.
Japan is fast becoming an 2nd tier console market as the gaming population shifts from consoles to mobile devices. I can see Japanese companies like Nintendo and Sony not even releasing their next consoles in Japan if the trend continues. Sony already delayed the PS4 release when usually their console products launch first in Japan.
Why do people keep on approving these horse crap articles? With the success of last generation, and this new generation off to an blistering start, why do we need to see another one of these damn articles? I picked up both and my game count right now is 8 XB1 (since 12/26/2013) and 3 PS4 (Lunch day) after recently picking up Infamous. I don't care for Kinect voice commands, not very accurate at the moment but the motion controls are pretty damn impressive except for some lag from time to time. Call me crazy but recently I've started to want a Wii U for Mario Kart 8. I know its just one game but I'm a sucker for racing games, currently own 9 across PC,PS4,XB1,and XB360.
It will be nice but its kinda silly both next gen console release without this basic feature.
