They are coming out with a new SKU with plans to actually start marketing the thing now that it's cheaper to produce and goes along with the PS4. They've actually stated that they created it to go along with the ps4.

Anyway, I bought my Vita and it's on it's way. This is one of the first games I was going to pick up and I was kind of disappointed I couldn't play it with friends on their PS3. This news makes me very happy.
@below: I hope we get that Mirumasa DLC as well since that will be one of the first titles I buy for the Vita.

Exactly. Unless there are "free" ps+ titles I want to try and don't mind deleting afterwards. If I like it I can always delete it and then buy a copy. Just ordered my Vita which should be here in a day or two!

Also, the PS4 could probably achieve 60fps in most games easily with its' specs, 8 cores, custom architecture, etc. Obviously....
But more importantly it will likely have lots of great games.
Anyway I just ordered a Vita and I think PS4 is sexy at the moment.
I might have to go with a physical copy of this game, since I love Vanilla Ware and it will go well will the Dragon's Crown art books I purchased.
Not to mention it will save space on my memory card for more appropriate titles.
It's a great way to support the devs though, or buy the game new.
Well said. I have yet to really play his games but I like the idea of finding creative ways to illicit emotional responses. I'll probably start with Heavy Rain though. No hurry since I already have too many games I have to catch up with.
I was a little bit wary of him, because I do in fact want to play GAMES. I was hoping he wouldn't start a trend where too many games become more like interactive movies, but I don't think that was his intention.
Hopefully this will just lead to some new creative ideas.

That is a statement I can respect from Mr. Cage and he might be starting to grow on me a little bit, provided he doesn't try too hard to impose his philosophy on other artists, creators, devs, etc.

Well China houses over a million millionaires if you include Hong Kong anyway. So at least that many could buy one.
The interests of the Chinese would be a deciding factor as well, along with the marketability of the consoles in their country. I think it might take a pretty large marketing effort to shift their perception over there. But who knows.
Anyway they should be able to buy one if they're interested without having them foisted upon them.

Thanks and that is a good point about being optimized with 8 cores in mind. I will look into the FX-8350 as well since I haven't heard much about it.
I've been considering an HD 7770 for now then I will shop around in a few months.

They will hopefully try actually marketing the Vita correctly first. After the PS4 comes out which the Vita was designed to go along with.
