I'm getting this game based upon my amazing experience with the Ys series so far.
Sony has missed some great marketing and other opportunities over the last few years that have left me scratching my head.
I've thought, "oh they must be waiting for such and such", then nope.
But the Vita system itself has barely begun to live since Sony had planned for it to accompany the PS4 for quite a while.
The future of the device is in Sony's hands and their decisions will determine how successful it is in the future for the most part.
I just got the Vita PCH-1000.
The screen is amazing but after you are done gawking at the colors and contrast ratio it will come down to how fun the games are that you are playing.
I'll probably get one of the new ones as well and play games like Rayman, Dragon's Crown, etc. on the old oLED.
I would be happy with either of them personally but for different reasons since they each have their ups and downs. The Vita 1000 has a "better" screen and more s...
Have there been any announcements regarding a potential Borderlands 2 Vita specific release date?
....oh and on topic, yes they will survive 2014 since Sony has been waiting to market the Vita along with the PS4.
For the authors sake I hope they are getting paid a lot to write this nonsensical drivel.
Ryse is the one game at this point I would really like to try on my PS4 and I think it's neat that I have ancestors from over near there.
If it ends up being any good I'll look out for it on PC or play it over at a friend's house.
It seems like a lot of people don't know that indies can have big budgets and be made by superb teams as well.
It might have something to do with the stigma/feelings that have become associated with the term "indie".
I think independent devs should probably look to clear some of that up.
Sony and other companies support might help.
I agree with you dredgewalker.
If I really like a free PS+ game I will usually just buy it to add it to my collection.
I buy quality games to support good devs.
I also know that free PS+ games, although IMO better than Steam's constant Login DRM are not entirely ours.
@fireseed: Only the worthy shall past the test.
I'll be on the look out for a PS4 demo unit and hopefully Sony rolled out some good in store promo materials.
Seems like you trying to impose your way of thinking upon others. It looks like your second comment "gets it right" where you stated that it was your opinion, though there is still a hint of coercion between the lines.
That being said, I probably won't be playing this gamemyself, because unless it has a good story/gameplay I wouldn't pay more than a couple dollars for it.
I like games with sexy ladies that have, good stories, gameplay, personalities, etc.
I noticed people who call other people pervs, try to sensor others, and impose their opinions upon them are often even worse.
It makes them feel better about themselves to put themselves in a category above others.
I just got the Vita oLED PCH-1000 or whatever and it's amazing.
This kinda reminds me of the PSPs iterations. I had all 3 at one point and the 1000 felt the most solid, the 2000 felt kinda cheap yet durable, and the 3000 improved upon the build quality while offering the new features of the previous model.
They might need a couple more 500m marketing campaigns to pull that off.
Something like a proper Socom2 remake for Vita/ps3/ps4 and H-Hour for PS4, etc. would make me happy.
We can only hope they get all the intricacies down pat and judging by the article they seem to be listening to the community so anyone interested should get involved.
I was thinking about how nice a proper Socom or Socom remake would be on my Vita recently.
There seem to be a lot of people who want this so let's make it happen!
I've been waiting for this. :]
" PS Vita-owning fans have been waiting a long time for this game"
lol, what? o.0
Oh nm, I misread it. I guess they mean fans of AB that happen to own Vitas.
If I wanted AB I would have downloaded it on my phone a long time ago.
I WILL be picking up Spelunky Vita ASAP though, since it has cross play with PS3 players, comes highly recommended, is only 14.99, is notoriously challenging, etc.
Thank you for that.
No and it would be better for this guys career in the long run to not even consider having Capcom publish it.
I am happy with my Vita purchase so far and it's great to see more and more interesting titles! :]
