For the time being.
Another one of these articles and a few years late.
They used to post these years ago when smartphones were at the height of their novelty and nothing came of it.
Then there were the ones who knew next to nothing about technology talking about tablets replacing consoles and pcs. Pretty funny stuff.
Will buy this game and spread the word about this amazing series.
The only thing making me lean away from AMD for my next build is their lack of driver support. It seems like a massive oversight but I remain hopeful.
Really looking forward to their upcoming CPUs though.
I wouldn't have seen your comment if I hadn't went back through my history.
I think there is some miscommunication, this is why precision is so important. But we have sites, like the one you mentioned spitting out misinformation and nonsense. They are the problem and our informed discussions are not.
As for your last sentence, we will see. We don't necessarily need polarized opinions about the whole thing. Obviously mobile is hot, but tablets have kind of simmered ...
It's really special and I'd love to revisit Boletaria(sp?). Haven't finished Dark Souls yet but will find my save files and return to it shortly.
Demon's Souls is one of my favorite games of all time but again it's subjective.
I rank it above Ocarina of Time, which I rank below A Link to the Past, etc. I won't carry on about my other favorites(COUNTER STRIKE, GOLDEN EYE, SM64, etc., etc. etc.
It really is subjective and about the experience you have with the titles.
They are still selling so it wouldn't really make sense to discontinue them right now and as was stated below, it hasn't been 10 years yet.
Is it even under $200US yet?
I should clarify. I saw the interview with Shu and it was very nice. Obviously what he said is true to an extent but not the whole story. 3DS dominated at the height of mobile phone novelty. He is right to be cautious in the current climate though.
Also, "that website" you mentioned is full of it in general and my comment had nothing to do with their nonsensical opinion piece.
Add another sale to me, in the near future.
Yes, their marketing for this amazing device here in the US has been substandard.
Also, I don't even want high budget "AAA" games necessarily, just continue to give me quality physical copies of games like Dragon's Crown, Persona, etc.
Keep in mind though, that the even older vinyl record has seen a resurgence in popularity recently.
I don't mind GOG.com, but I mostly agree.
That's Patchy for ya'. I hear he uses one of these:
http://s.wiiugo.com/wp-cont...
He doesn't seem to care/notice that it's just a ball with a light bulb in it though.
Thanks. I wanted to know what all of this was about but didn't want to click on the link.
If that happens, there should still be places(like GOG) that offer high-quality, DRM-free games, which is ALMOST as good IMO.
Until then, the prospect of SOMA making it to Playstation VR seems promising.
PS. Imagine a multiplayer co-op horror game you could play with your friends.
Another vote for PS2 BC here(NO download).
For now I can play them on my PC... or PS2.
Would love it if they added a PS2 emulator to a future update though ;x
Your first paragraph sold me on this game. I need more intelligent sci-fi/horror. Getting it DRM-free on GOG and then(hopefully) for Playstation VR(If I have the courage).
Anyone have any additional suggestions for intelligent sci-fi/horror that we might not have heard of?
Books/movies are good too.
I would rank SOTN higher. It offered a lot more to me but they are both great games.
I played OOT after FF7, so it seemed to lack depth/scale, etc., although it's unfair to compare the two.
