Yes and now some people are starting to call fully functional programs (like photoshop etc.) "apps" and internet "apps" "programs".
The idiocracy draws nearer.
Would be neat to see if they consider a fully functional program/application like MS Office an "app" now. It would be smart of them to allow people to use light "apps" or programs either way.
I thought that was one of the series' high points.
Welp looks like they might have to start milking a different franchise pretty soon.
I love having physical copies of my favorite games. At least Sony made the right decision about DRM so you don't have to login every time you want to play your games.
Unlikely
It's becoming increasingly difficult to manufacture that scale and beyond I hear.
This (and battery limitations etc) is why we can see some stagnation in mobile devices.
Maybe we will see some massive, "quantum" ;) leaps though with some revolutionary technology.
28nm Is already pretty darn amazing imo.
I played most of my PS3 games on a 55" Samsung, including shooters.
I've never had a problem, unless I got too close to it obviously.
Sitting the right distance from a TV, viewing from the right angle, being comfortable, etc. are crucial to me.
I do most of my PC gaming on laptops and definitely need one of those Powergrips for the Vita since I'm always fidgeting with it.
They think they work for their PR team.
"Cloud" has been mostly a marketing buzzword from the beginning. Allow Oracle CEO Larry Ellison to explain (funny) http://www.youtube.com/watc...
One of the better articles I've read from Forbes.
It's mind boggling that anyone could take something as serious as a video game dog hyped by a big publisher and turn it into some kind of joke or parody. Oh wait....
He runs away at the end, so dramatic. I would know, I do his voice work.
I can't wait to play this on my Vita.
I'll probably get one but I'm definitely keeping at least one Vita PCH-1000.
Wow I'm looking for a new internet provider for my place down here in the southern US and wish they would offer this deal :]
I remember crash and I didn't really have the perception that it was too kiddy, but I'm sure there were some people who had that perception at the time, especially since the perception of video games in general has changed since then.
I can't speak about an adults perception of Crash at the time because I wasn't one.
I know as an adult though that games, movies, etc. can be kid friendly but still have lots of great content for everyone.
Knack seems to b...
Some people but depending game it doesn't necessarily make a difference to many people
Like the guy below who is used to 60 FPS might notice a difference.
Some people don't really notice a major difference but like to nitpick though.
30 FPS for Uncharted 2 (locked) single player was more than enough for me because it worked with the controls, gameplay, etc.
For games like counterstrike or killzone Shadow Fall Multiplayer I would prefer 60 fps though.
I guess he's not complaining, so you must be used to the countless complainers on here who are never satisfied.
Anyway Knack looks great and I'm glad to find out that it will supposedly present a challenge!
Good, I might have to get Knack now.
But the difficulty is probably exaggerated because people are used to all easy (appeal to everyone and everyone is a winner), casual games that have become prevalent due to high production costs, mainstream appeal, etc.
For example, I didn't think Demon's Souls was as hard as people were making it out to be, but it presented a challenge, LIKE GAMES ARE SUPPOSED TO (imo).
Btw Knack looks great!
Him and others are spamming all day every day.
