I wonder if their marketing team can pull them out of this one.
Not to mention space, thermal limitations, lack of a fan, difficulty producing chips smaller than 28nm, etc.
People say, "phones are getting more powerful".
So are consoles and PCs and they don't have the above limitations. Fail!

For console FPS I'll stick with Shadow Fall on the PS4 for a while thanks.
If people have problems with the downloads they should probably consider a physical copy.
Some companies will still release "incomplete" games but maybe people will catch on.

That and the Vita has a better image quality (at least oLED model) and touchscreen, along with many other things, like being used as a stand alone gaming unit, etc.

Hah I was actually going to mention that but my comment was getting long. Shooter over-saturation, CODism, "playing it safe", and TOO MUCH DLC, etc. have been pretty bad this gen.
I don't have a problem with worthwhile DLC, that's not on the disc already, doesn't take anything away from the original release, and is worth the money.
I'm actually looking foward to some DLC like Mirumasa and Mercenaries for example.
He is correct and we've seen what can happen to companies who try to scalp their customers for a quick buck, with excessive DLC nonsense, etc.
It's also funny when companies start to try to appeal to "everyone" instead of their fans and end up alienating everyone.
If you keep your fans happy and make good games instead of trying to cash in, real gamers (not just trend followers) will appreciate it.

Bladerunner's style is so powerful that I remember it even though I don't think I've ever seen the whole movie.

$20 US for a physical copy of Mercenaries? Will go great with my new Vita (if it is a brand new copy)!

There are thousands of books from hundreds of years ago that most of us have never heard of. It's only the very best, most popular, etc. that remain widely recognized.
It is presumptuous to assume that Video Games haven't or wont be created with timeless qualities that will be appreciated for many decades or more.
It is also possible that games will be created that wont be appreciated until after their time.

OOT is only "overrated" imo because I've heard a lot of people call one of the best, if not the best game of all time, which I disagree with.
It was groundbreaking, innovative, and technically immpressive for it's time, but I don't even think it's the best Zelda game personally.
