"Ultimately, while the use of an LCD panel cannot match the same level of performance found in the previous Vita's OLED display, it comfortably holds up against some of those found in top-end smartphones."
You can always click on the website under "Read full story" and vote it up/down as well ;)
I wonder who this guy is referring to :x
The whole point is that it actually looks better in the newer build. Whether or not these images do an adequate job portraying that is another story.
"Guerrilla Games recently revealed that the graphics of the upcoming PS4 exclusive video game, “Killzone: Shadow Fall,” has improved significantly since the first gameplay video at the Playstation Meeting event in February."
Maybe he is one of their personal analysts.
"The conjecture is backed up by data from eBay listings"
Conjecture is the correct word and it doesn't say how many people are buying at those markups.
I'm not sure if I could consider an investor who makes decisions strictly based upon this reasoning savvy.
Maybe I'll wait for that deal (if it's a new copy), thanks for the reminder.
I won't care much if this game ends up being a step back toward the Nintendo we love.
If it is a hand-holding, casual, nubfest, I will probably pass on it entirely.
Decent article with some valuable information. Though it's a little bit flat and nothing many of us aren't already entirely familiar with.
Perhaps the future of handheld games in general.
I just got a Vita.
I purchased Lumines, got PS+ w/ a few games, and will be buying copies of:
-Dragon's Crown
-Mercenaries
-Mirumasa
-Gravity Rush
-Spelunky(digital)
-Persona
-Rayman
and more....
ASAP
I hope he's not drawing attention to the fact that he won't be able to review the PS4 games early, that would kind of be counterproductive.
The white is very sexy.
If Sony doesn't offer white I may have to customize my own.
*The outbreak of CODism and then its' subsequent clonidia.
*The all too frequent use of health regeneration and aim assist.
*Need for more challenging games and less hand holding.
*The shift toward "casualization".
*High development costs (or just greed and whatnot) limiting variety, etc.
*Companies trying to make games "appeal to everyone".
*Nubs trying to turn gaming...
I remember that level and the frustration, but I would rather have that challenge.
I also remember conquering the club-wielding black phantoms(lol giant trolls yeah) just to fall off that bridge/platform and then deal with another black phantom, in the muck, where you couldn't dodge, and I think affected your status.
Can't wait for a proper sequel that retains the essence of Boletaria.
I also love the Japanese twist on the old Europe...
There is a person/people who have some kind of problem with your dualshockers site and other sites (like gamingbolt).
It is not as simple as gripes about sensationalist headlines, etc.
Everyone knows that newspapers have been using catchy headlines for many decades to attract readers.
Maybe your site is getting too popular for some people.
Just a heads up.
Edit: No problem. I think you have every right (within reason) to promote, just like I wo...
@BBBird: Why focus so much on these people when people are doing much sneakier(more questionable) things right under our noses? It makes me wonder if YOU might have some kind of agenda.
I'm even more excited for the PS4 now and I love the unique Japanese culture too. Keep it Japanesey Kyoto.
It's fine for me although I play both and understand they BOTH have their strengths and weaknesses.
I don't think the focus on graphics should exceed the focus on overall quality though.
@hellbringer, I dont know if it's really that simple.
"You cannot have both on these consoles."
You CAN have 1080p native, decent physics, and 60fps with 8 cores, almost 8gb GDDR5, custom bus configuration, and new proprietary AMD technology.
Not to mention the device specificity and continued optimization.
Obviously there will be be trade offs here and there like you said (in some instances).
Can we talk about fun games now?
They should all get raises if they can get them through this time.
Seems like a very good game for me to try.
