Edit: okay I went and read the article and the title is misleading. I will say though, that that data alone could never provide a thorough prediction for several reasons. For one, you would have to be ignoring certain data to even consider them on an even playing field at this point.

I thought the authors of these (redundant) ridiculous articles stopped a while ago after seeing the 3DS sales figures.
As android/ios were seeing their greatest spike in popularity, 3DS was rapidly setting the pace for becoming the most popular dedicated handheld of all time and Vita was continuing to pick up momentum.

Trolls can't stand super-high levels of greatness. It is their weakness and leaves them waddling back to their bridge/cave feeling defeated.
