I've heard they will even take a hit sometimes in order to get new customers and/or crush competition. A tactic that's worked well with other massive retailers.
It likely has a lot to do with the way COD is marketed here among other things.
I figured but thought you might be unaware of some others.
The Eyetoy was okay to some people and offered some games comparable to many available for Kinect, only in lower resolution, etc. It actually had a game called "Kinetic" interestingly. It's worth a youtube of "eyetoy gameplay".
The activator was kinda cheesy but interesting for its' time and somewhat innovative, alluding to future possibilities. A youtube search of "Se...
This is great news as a new Vita owner.
I wonder if this person is aware of previous motion control technology like the Playstation 2 Eye Toy or Sega Activator.
lol @ "can't be bought" and "hugely popular".
I have a PC but I think I'll keep my Playstations AND probably get a PS4....
You understand how people can have gaming PCs and still like Playstation hopefully.
I like that I will be able to actually own copies of most of my favorite titles.
If you think people take fanboyism too personally then we are in agreement though!
see the last 2 lines.
i have a nice phone but do not consider it a gaming device like i do my new vita which im typing this on.
im going to get a ps plus card and buy some games as well.
i love this thing. :]
It's not likely going to be entirely free unless there are advertisements all over the dungeons.
Though Irishguy may come across wrong, his comments are actually closer to objective reality than many of the others on here, but that's not to say this game won't be worth checking out.
Yeah Capcom and FTP what could go wrong. /s
I'm hoping they will get this one right though.
I missed out on a lot myself but started buying the best of them in the last year or so. Trust me when I say that the gems are still worth playing. I have Okami, Persona, Onimusha, etc. It's nice to have them in the collection.
Gamecube had a lot of great games but not quite as many.
Well if Capcom doesn't try to rip everyone off again I will give this game a try.
There were articles months ago talking about how PS4 would be using proprietary technology, similar to that used in AMD's upcoming GPUs and I think I remember APU technology.
If anyone has an article about the APU aspect, or any new info about it's unique architecture, please post it.
Now that that's covered, my Vita is out for delivery and the mailman should be here any minute. :]
Exactly.
I will probably always have a PS2 or many of its' games in my collection.
It was and powerful enough to create timeless classics that will be played for decades. I'll have to check out this article later.
Cool, I didn't know that.
This will probably be the first game I buy to go with my PS4, but since they are sold out everywhere I'll be playing Mercenary on the Vita until I can get my hands on the new Playstation.
That's a pretty good idea. I'm really happy about the Dragon's Crown cross play patch because I can play with my friend(and other PS3 users) now as well, even though I left my PS3 where I used to live. Hopefully we will see more support in the future for cross play and other nice features.
Exactly. There are people who don't like MS and it's been like that for a decade or so. It's almost safe to say that most of them aren't even Playstation fanboys.
@agentx: I am not embarrassed by what some more insensitive people have to say. Their actions have almost nothing to do with me as a gamer as far as I'm concerned.
I was wondering about that too so I just upvoted you and everyone above me on this thread.
I'm interested to see what the online portion has to offer as well since we already know the single player is probably going to be badass.
I remember the Virtual Boy. I wanted one when I was I was little and I guess we were fortunate nobody bought me one. Now they are probably collectors items. If I had a really big closet I might pick one up.
