Good choice. I picked up a Vita recently and haven't regretted it.

There were a select few "Amazon users" that would troll the big PS3 releases and try to ruin the hype. I wouldn't be surprised if there are even more now and this may apply to other products as well(and other websites actually).

I would love a new IP. After Golden Abyss I could use a break from "finding another way around" for a few months.

Sony should show off some footage in the next week or so, considering MS was always trying to rain on THEIR parade. I remember when they announced a special edition Forza for right when GT5 was launching, for example.

What you mentioned, along with more games from the Resogun devs, a port or remake of Radiant Silvergun, more Ikaruga, etc. would be a good start. Maybe us gamers will start really getting what we want this generation. They seem to be listening.
Yes and consoles/pcs don't have the battery, thermal, space, etc. limitations present in "mobile tech".

Yeah, of course. I didn't mean it could outperform a PC. I meant it will have games in the next few years comparable to what we are seeing with current PCs, but probably no higher than 1080p of course. Should have worded that differently, but I'm half asleep.
As far as resolution goes that is correct. But my statement is also correct about optimization, it's a fact. You will see games running at 1080 P that look stunning in the next 4 years, comparable to that of current high end pcs(High end PC games), but at lower resolution.
It isn't all about the GPU, it's about optimization and custom proprietary architecture, another fact.
Nowhere did I say that it was "as powerful" as a current high end PC.
But Battlefield hasn't been fully optimized for PS4s architecture anyway and you know that.
The proof of this statement will be when EA's next BF looks even better.
Considering its custom architecture, its' performance might be similar to that of a current mid/high end PC with time.
At least as far as how well games run on it.
If you disagree, consider how Planetside 2 struggled to run on most PCs for years, but due to optimization will run very well on PS4 within the next couple months.

What it is, has yet to be confirmed, but unlikely to disappoint.
