I game on all the consoles, not into PC at all, so don't care about that platform, so X1 is not irrelevant to me. I absolutely love my X1S, actually prefer it's setup, os, controller, Live, apps, achievements, updates, photo, video capture, to Sony's setup. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my PS exclusives on the PRO, but Xbox is my main console, has always been since the orig, and I am certainly looking forward to the Scorpio, so in my house X1 is not irrelevant, and it gets the...
6tFlops for a console is next gen as far as I am concerned.
Wait, but 2017 MS and Sony are moving to the Scorpio and Pro
Tecmo and Team Ninja needs to approve the NG games. That aint on MS
3DS market is a different beast than the console market, but you may be right, the switch which is portable that docks might do well.
I am pulling for Nintendo, but I just don't see that happening.
disastrous is going overboard..
I am pretty sure none of us want to see them run the company into the ground but we have no control over the decisions they make. Nintendo has always sung to their own beat. That is not changing.
Nintendo will run their company as they see fit. Atleast this is what Reggie told us a few years back. I am not surprised.
I bought 2- 2TB SSHd for my X1s and one for PS4 Pro for $117 each, not expensive. Standard hdds are even cheaper, so they are not that expensive.
I know all that, not really interested in portable gaming or playing from my phone, or tablet. I wanted a traditional console with Pro, Scorpio specs or somewhere in between. Hope it does well for Nintendo, as the console market is better for all console owners when all three are doing well.
Sure, it stands a chance. it is the only portable console that docks in 2017.
Looks like you were right. It is a portable that docks. That doesn't make it a home console like say the X1S and PS4 Pro.
The reality is it is a portable that docks.
No, the switch will have no affect on the PS4 or any game coming out. Is this a joke, there are 50 million PS4 owners out here, me included. The portable will not affect Sony at all.
Not an excuse, when it was rumored that Nintendo was going with the lower spec chips I did not expect 60FPS 1080p, so this is what it is, the portable is what it is, not changing, so either you get on board or don't.
Did some forget, the Switch is a portable, not a traditional console like Pro, Scorpio, or XB PS launch models. Honestly given the rumors, I expected these numbers.
I say, no, Nintendo has not doomed the Switch. Nintendo faithfuls will buy day one, no question, but given what we saw in the reveal, I am not sure that will be enough for mainstream gamers.
But, I don't see Wiiu's in stores retail at all that much anyways.
I love the X1S, so thank you, MS for continuing the updates.
