But the Switch is their console. You guys keep wanting more powerful Nintendo hardware, given what we saw with the Wii, Wiiu, now the Switch, this is their playbook.
I just don't see it happening at this point. Nintendo says the Switch is replacement for the Wiiu. Nintendo can call this whatever they want but this is clearly a portable that docks, and I have no interests in portables. I wanted taditiknal Nintendo console with at minimum PS4 power. The Switch is no...
It means the Switch outsold the Wii in the first 48 hours using a Wiiu title, and probably had more units available than the previous console. Nothing more.
Best what? Stop...
Awesome!!!
And Zelda is on the Wiiu, looks almost the same too.
The Wiiu made a profit out of the gate too.
I game on all the platforms, not a fanboy of any console, and the portable that docks, I certainly did not want as I am not into portables and I wanted a traditional Nintendo console with specs at minimum better than my soon to be 4 year old consoles I already own.
If I want to play Zelda I will just rent it on the Wiiu as they look and perform similar. I have my isuues with the Switch as a console but I don't want it to fail. All gamers win when all three console mak...
Strongest what?
I was watching some reviews on YouTube and they were saying about the anti aliasing, and some slowdown, other performance issues that are blown up when in dock mode.
Many are saying game looks better in handheld, and degrades when plugged into a big tv.
Looks like the Nintendo fans has some pep in their step. Good to see the excitement.
Why even attempt to compare the two? Games can be great without tearing down other games on other platforms
But that is what the Wiiu was. My 1st and secondary consoles are the Pro, X1S until the Scorpio comes so those who think many will rush out and buy the Switch as a secondary or third console be may in for another surprise like we saw with the last Nintendo console.
Sony is too far ahead to even be concerned in my opinion. I really don't even see the Switch as much of a threat to Microsoft either as Sony and MS are clearly going for something much different than Nintendo. The Switch looks to be another Wiiu to me where you will be able to play the slowly trickled out Nintendo franchises on the go, but not much else, and as a console it is very lacking. Time will tell. Zelda alone is not going to sell the Switch by itself outside of the launch, I co...
My last primary Nintendo console was the Super Nes, everyone after that was 2nd or 3rd.
Microsoft, I am sure knows what is best for their company, and can do multiple tasks, so they can do a subscription based gaming and focus on exclusives. Many have idea what MS is doing behind the scenes.
I am sure the Xbox BC games are not taking away from new IPs, and I am sure MS can walk and chew gum at the same time. I am hoping the Ninja Gaiden games get added to BC, as I have 100s of 360 games and I am enjoying continuing many of them on the X1S.
I agree
Well said
I am really not into portables, although I like the Vita, so the Switch I am not even remotely interested in dropping $300 for. Going to dig my daughters Wiiu out of the closet, hook it back up and get Zelda on that. That should be good enough.
