If recent releases are anything to go by, the differences are still very real. Just because folks "get the swing" of the harder-to-program-for machine, doesn't mean advantages will just disappear.
Simply put, the Xbox One doesn't exist in a vacuum - as new technologies/techniques are learned on it, they're being learned on the PS4 as well.
If nothing else, you just explained exactly WHY it is embarrassing for Sony to be stomping both Nintendo and Microsoft into the ground. Whether intentional or not - well, next time proof read. :)

Well, that's on you. I found it not to be a problem, definitely not a simple "excuse", and the enemy AI was as promised.
Perhaps they can give people that HAVE that issue the option to play like that, but I wouldn't expect it for the remaster. Maybe for the next game in the series.
If you read up on it, Naughty Dog said this was deliberate, as to not cause complete and utter frustration to the player. Like many, I'm thankful they made such a choice.

Uncharted isn't only single-player.
It wasn't just about "PS4 fanboys", never has been (I doubt that even makes a major dent in the minds of the devs at all) but hey, whatever you have to tell yourself to convince the mind that the X1 is just as capable in every scenario.
