Why buy ANY current gen game, then?

Did they ever say it was "locked" at 60fps? If so, I'd like to see the article.

Plus, you said "another false claim". What are the others?

Just stop posting. You've already gone completely off topic and obviously are here to cause trouble. Just stop.

OT: I'm not surprised! The Last Of Us is one of the better games to come out in the last 5 years, and now this Remastered version will just add to it!

Nope. You're on your own, there - and with good reason. When we learn that LBP 3 and DRIVECLUB are bad games, in the Fall, we can say what's "good" and what isn't. Until then, you're only doing much of what a lot of people do, judge something based on nothing at all.

OT: Such a masterfully crafted title! It was fantastic on the PS3, so this gets the goosebumps going, especially leaving the anticipation ripe for The Last Of Us 2.

You downplay Indie games and then, ironically, praise MS's "diverse line-up". Last time I checked, the X1 recently got a bunch of Indie titles that were once PC/PS4-only. Pay attention, Sony is a company that has NEVER struggled with a varied game library.

Good to see MS approaching this stance now, too.

If you don't want "old games" to play on your new console, don't buy them. Simple.

4223d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, because everyone has/games on PC....

Anyway, OT: Haven't seen either sale, but a sale is a sale. Who cares about the competition of it?

4223d ago 4 agree5 disagreeView comment

It was, perhaps, one of the reasons, but definitely not the biggest. Price, perception, easy development = better multiplats are the biggest reasons. Don Mattrick's blunders are not.

Nope, I don't think it's too early at all to call a winner. Sony would have to, royally, "f" this up to lose the gen. They have have played their cards well, though, so they should keep their healthy lead while continuing to bring a diverse line-up of games.

Now on the flip side, the X1 and WiiU will have plenty to play that isn't available on PlayStation, and that's the good thing for everyone who games on home consoles.

Indeed, but I find that it's a select few, from a particular fan-base I won't mention, that continues to create drama here. Nothing wrong with Remasters since they ADD to gaming.

You might be hard-pressed to convince these folks of this, which is why the best policy is to ignore them. :)

I'd ask you to explain where I said anything about "hate", but you're out of bubbles. I'd also look up the word "childish", as you used it completely out of context.

Anyway, whether or not you played the game, which we have no way of knowing if that's even true, it doesn't negate that some people won't agree with you about what they're seeing from the game. You may have been bored playing it, others can't wait TO play it. No...

A reasonable way of looking at it. They were probably stuffed with trying to show off everything. I'm sure Gamescom will have plenty more and then we'll get one more piece of important footage before the game's February release.

Yeah, and if they HADN'T shown what they did, that would have been something else for people to complain about. The entitlement of today's so-called "gamers" is sickening.

OT: Have no doubts about this game. Ready At Dawn is a good studio and what they've shown so far looks interesting, at least to me.

Well said!

Just because one Remaster may have failed (yes, the Silent Hill Collection was bad), doesn't mean it will affect all Remasters. It's silly to gauge it like that.

"We already know that Guerrilla Cambridge is working on a PS4 game, and today we get more information on the studio’s plans thanks to a career opportunity ad published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe seeking a Audio Programmer".

Did you not read the article?

4225d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, they should kill off a successful franchise. Totally with you. /s

OT: A new Killzone is always welcome, from me! Because it's Cambridge involved, if it does turn to be a new game in the franchise, it could be the best in the series since Killzone 2!

Nah, more games are always good news. The only bad news is for people that don't like The Last Of Us have to deal with another round of it - in which case, I'd say: "get over it".

OT: Sounds good! 19 days to go!

@ LOGIC: "Logic " would tell you what the purpose of the question was. If one of them is lacking exclusives, then surely they both must be, yes? I was looking for clarity, given they are their closest rival. It wasn't a slight against MS, but then.....

.....your allegiances are obvious, as per known. You should have been asking HIM why such a comment about: "a lack of exclusives" was needed in the first place.

4225d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

I love these kinds of nonsense, cliched, posts. They really expose one's lack of knowledge in said area.

I have to ask, since Sony has three exclusives releasing in the next five months, which equals what Microsoft has, does that mean the X1 has no other exclusives coming either?
