Well, we already know LBP3 is a Nov 2014 title, so this could very well launch in Mar.
Cool, but I agree that it matters little. Fact is that it will be there.
Has this been confirmed for a later date?
"Quicker yet to he who takes!" - King Bohan, Heavenly Sword
OT: Brilliance! That's all I can say! Sheer, unadulterated, brilliance!
There was nothing wrong with this E3 before this.
OT: Great for WiiU owners!
Actually, that's very much to the point. Maybe to YOU there's no reason for exclusivity, but if you really want the game, you know what you have to do.
Otherwise, quit griping about it.
It's waste of time, at this point. Both this article and many posters like corvusmd are among folks that would have called it underwhelming regardless of what they showed.
The truth is, so many good games are coming from both Sony and MS, that you have to let the extreme fanatics go it, as arguing about "better libraries" takes precedent over actually enjoying the material.
I mean, you have to love the backwards thinking that MS showed "no...
Which the PS4 supports.
You can nitpick it all you want. They're doing exactly what you're supposed to do at a game show, bringing games.
You're clearly not watching it.
- Destiny
- Far Cry 4
- LittleBIG-F*ing-PLANET 3
- Let It Die
I could keep going, but it's probably pointless here.
It's Sony's. Read the trademark.
Yep, thank goodness you can't poison this topic with anymore complete BS.
OT: LBP3 was a shock! And this year too! Between this and the Destiny Bundle, Sony has this year in the bag!
Well, it's on now, so they must have won already! :P
My feelings exactly. I'd be worried if there WASN'T a huge leap, seeing as Halo 2 is a 10-year-old game from the 6th generation of consoles (which spanned 1999-2004 without successors).
Also, for those claiming this "one -up(s)" The Orange Box, I respectfully disagree.
No beta for X1. During the show, EA and Sony both called it console exclusive.
It isn't about sensitivity at all (in fact, your defensive responses show who caught feelings). If you say something, without context, then it has a right to be challenged.
Very much the kitchen-and-heat metaphor.
How exactly will it be tough for them to follow? Like MS they too will be showing games (new and known). Not sure how you drew that conclusion at all.
Uncharted = Gears, GT = Halo. Not sure how you drew any other conclusion, if you actually followed all four franchises and their sales trends.
OT: I agree with many above, all the speculating is silly at this point. The event's practically here.
Tell me, when were racing games so bad? Didn't one just release on the WiiU to the tune of critical and commercial praise? In fact, isn't Sony's biggest franchise that of a car/racing/driving game? All questions that have simple answers.
OT: October? Doubtful. They said Summer 2014, so I'm sticking to that word. We'll know by tomorrow anyway, so it's useless to speculate right now.
I think people focus far too much on who "wins". I doubt the corporations care if they win/lose, so long as the message is clear.
In all three cases (Sony/MS/Nintendo), the message was crystal clear - plenty of games are coming and there should be very little to complain about.
