Killed the topic in one fell swoop!
Is this a joke? Nintendo is the only one that cares for gamers? My Lord.
OT: Makes sense that they would capitalize on the mistakes of their closest rival.
Nothing much for YOU on PS4. Got it. Useless info in a topic about a game coming exclusively to the system.
Like you, I'm also a PC gamer. Unlike you, I won't sit around hoping exclusives go multi and down-talk anything that doesn't.
I've seen all I needed to see. The general consensus is not of perfection, but of a game that did what it promised and is ready to be re-launched with higher fidelity.
You can sit around looking for the bad in it all you want, but you'll accomplish nothing.
What about game-play? There have been PLENTY of DRIVECLUB videos. But then, you'd need a PS4 to play the game, so I guess you're out of luck (and bubbles).
OT: The weather video was absolutely incredible. I wasn't expecting this game to top Project CARS!
I've not heard a single person claim the game was flawless and without blemish (and no, scoring 10/10 doesn't ever mean the game is without bugs or is perfect). Thus, you just vented about your own personal annoyance, not anything really wrong with the game (which was MY point).
It was never in question the issue of perfection.
dupe.
Name a game without bugs. I mean none. I have a while, so take your time.
OT: This article really has brought out the worst in people (or it could just be that The Last Of Us is the most awarded game in history, and some just can't deal with that).
Um, the PS4 isn't $600, but I'm sure you knew that.
OT: Can't wait for this game! Haven't really gotten into any Souls games since Demon's, and if the rumors are correct, this comes out directly after The Order!
Wrong again. Of course it's about making money, but that was never in dispute. As for mandatory online(multiplayer, not PSN), makes sense. To keep the services and things gamers want, it was a necessity (but then, people would still find something to complain about if it had remained free).
Fortunately, despite what you think, they've listened to the gamers. But then, who am I telling, people who generally talk down about Sony won't hear this anyway. ;)
...
Not silly at all. One of them have had a gamer friendly message since unveiling their new product, while the other tried to lay restrictive policies out there.
No matter who cares more, we see who the public chose, but despite that, Sony's message has been more gamer friendly, of late.
People's credit cards were used? Source. Gets old hearing that without a shred of proof.
OT: Don't know who cares more, but Sony's games better fit my gaming tastes.
If it came to the Xbox as an exclusive, perhaps. Since neither that, nor an Xbox version, have even been confirmed, I'd take all of this with pinches and pinches of salt.
@ Eejanaika: Again, the PS3 had a worldwide backing, despite all of the early blunders. That is why it caught up. The Xbox never had a worldwide appeal like that. This time, the Xbox One doesn't even have the advantages of the 360.
Nothing is impossible, sure, but how do you foresee the turnaround? Keep in my mind the removal of Kinect v2.0 and, subsequent, price reduction. Has that helped?
@ Angelic: Unless you expect a MAJOR turnaround for the X1 in all territories, the PS4 has the gen in the bag, as he put it. There will be spikes, here and there, big weeks, and the like. But without a worldwide backing, there's no way the X1 can catch up.
The US wasn't enough to stay ahead last gen, how will it pull the X1 ahead this gen?
Seems like the beginning of a new gen always starts with articles like these. Then, come gen's end, suddenly, that specific PlayStation is the only one still pumping out the goods.
Oh well, it's a Sunday and a slow news day at that. Guess we may as well batter on something.
No, but complaining about them has BEEN out of hand!
Without knowing what it did, in full, it's meaningless to speculate on actual figures. We also don't know what Sony thought of it - so again, meaningless to say: "it wasn't seen as a success".
In essence, it may not have performed like the original, but that wasn't enough to prevent a sequel, one that's about to pass inFAMOUS 2.
Edit: In fact, it sold more than what you posted for it's first month:

You saw a sequel to inFAMOUS 2 because even if it didn't sell as good as the first one, the sales aren't as low as you're making them out to be.
Besides, had that been the case, we wouldn't have seen another one. Much like Beyond - didn't sell like Heavy Rain, but wasn't a disaster, either.
This gen, thus far, they haven't had much trouble with that.
OT: Sony isn't kidding around! I love seeing them this aggressive - a far cry from last gen!
