You'll find that quite a lot of people suddenly become experts on this topic - anytime Cage says something (just look at a few of the top posts for examples). His games get no recognition by critics? Really? I could have sworn Heavy Rain was universally praised by critics, winning PLENTY of GOTY awards in 2010 (especially in EU) - or perhaps I live in an alternate dimension...

In the real world, Cage makes good points, and while we have near-Hollywood cinema-like titles, ...

This doesn't make any sense at all. None.

OT: Can't wait for this! Just "shed some" light on the date, ND.

You doubt what? That it will be at 61 million by then or that it will lead? If it's the latter, you'd be a little late, as it is already leading.

OT: Sounds like a safe prediction.

Simple, logical concept! Unfortunately, it will go on some deaf ears, but Indie Games are here to stay and that's a good thing! They very much remind me of many games from the past - a good deal of which we call "classics" today.

Unfortunately, it isn't even close to Outlast's fun factory. It's not "bad", per se, but it's far from the heights of other Indie horror games.

@ scissor: Most of that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic or why I said what I said (that's twice now that you've strayed off topic as a sort of way to downplay the topic and Sony here).

Unlike you, and a few others here, I'm not someone who gripes when my "favorite" company isn't shown as a "winner". What does the 3DS and Wii beating the PS3 and Vita have to do with what I said? Who said anything about earnings?

@ scissor: I never denied that they are having problems, but if you're going to defend the notion that they are going bankrupt, you need to show me just how that is happening. Losing money doesn't simply equate to going bankrupt.

If you think they are going bankrupt, then you must also expect their current bright spots, like the PS4, to be discontinued soon. Yes?

It's quite simple, really. They are a few places ahead of Nintendo in said topic, and because of their current financial situation, which is far less grim than many would lead you to believe, it's the first thing a few will bring up.

It's the "sore loser" nature of some extreme fans. Nothing out of the ordinary.

@ lilbroRx: "Blind fanboyism" insults are ironic coming from you.

In the real world, Sony isn't going bankrupt, even if their situation isn't the greatest right now. Also, I'm not sure why you felt the need to remind me of their financial situation vs Nintendo's, but then, I can already suspect why that irrelevance was brought up.

Tell you what, if you can actually give me a detailed account of this impending bankruptcy, I'm all ...

Yes, a , still, multi-billion dollar company is about to go bankrupt. /s The question should be: "what do YOU know"?

OT: Congrats to both companies! If not for them, I wouldn't be the gamer I am today (sprinkled with a lot of Sega as well).

@ annus: Great some people don't want it. Others do. I'm not seeing anything unique to Titanfall. As long as opinions exist, this is how it is.

According to whom? Name/show me the folks that said they didn't "want" it on/for PS4.

OT: Some of those are decent enough reasons, but I think cfc78 hit the nail on the head! If EA wants this to be a substantial enough rival for Call of Duty, that can only be achieved as multiplatform title.

Help me understand what the issue is.

It's 3rd person, first and foremost, so I don't see the correlation to COD at all.

OT: Female protagonists are a plus! Too few of them, in my view! The game just continues to look great, too!

Either way, neither one of them deserve any of the hate, but the double standards are, indeed, funny to watch.

@ n4rc: If you actually read my comment (which evidence shows you either didn't or have a lack of understanding), I made it clear that I had nothing to say regarding MS.

Thus, your double standard outlandish talk must be meant for someone else.

@ Volkama: My comment actually made a lot of sense - that based on historical trends, from a PlayStation, judging what it will do, with just 2 months of performance, makes no sense at all (and the poster who commented isn't known for his positive PlayStation attitude).
In regards to Xbox, I gave no response to it because I don't have a comment on something that has yet to launch, but going by THAT historical trend (which many have done in here), it's unlikely to set that r...

@ n4rc: So, we should say the PS4 did nothing in Japan, even though it's been on sale for just two months, with HARDLY ANY attractive Japanese software? "lol" Seems legit.

4305d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

Um, the PS4 just released. Not sure how you can make a judgment call on a two-month-old machine.

OT: Best of luck to them.
