In what other online fps do you shoot enemies and put them to sleep???! I'm wandering what the player's perspective is while they're knocked out? This game is going to be an awesome twist on the genre... after all it is Kojima ;-)

Yea, this was an issue during the beta but even then it seemed like they had it ironed out by the last week... anyhow, it hasn't frozen on me or any of my buddies at all yet.
It probably has something to do with the type of connection/router those players have.

Are you on drugs? Have you played the game yet? Warhawk is WAY worth the $40... you'll be playing it for months to come. And although Bioshock is definitely an awesome game, with the lack of online I can't say the same for it.
The game has 5 maps with 5-6 configs for each map... so it ends up feeling like 25 different maps. That's what the 1up reviewer meant by "it ends up feeling like a much bigger game". I was actually amazed at how the same map can feel so different depending on the config and game type!
And of course games like Warhawk and SOCOM will be undoubtedly awesome. But c'mon, they don't pack the level of detail visually or audibly as games like Killzone 2, HS, or MGS4... so ye...
Either you're in denial or you just have REALLY remedial comprehension skills... NONE of the reviews are in agreement with the PSM review, period. And IGN hasn't reviewed the game you n00b, 1UP did... and they stated they would deduct points if it cost more than $30 a month ago... so no surprise there. What WAS surprising is how much they praised the game even though they openly admitted to wanting to bash it if it costs more than $30 to d/l. The point: Warhawk is online greatness... get over...
You're right that they aren't in the same league... they're totally different types of games you butt wipe. One has an excellent single player and one has an excellent multiplayer.
And unfortunately for xbots, with Warhawk's online... Sony fanboys will not even be paying you guys any attention on Sept 25 no matter how much you want it. The game looks awesome... but I don't like the way objects just fly into your hands! What does the soldier have an understanding of the Force as well?! For the game to look so realistic I wish they'd used a bit more realistic animations for picking up objects.
Other than that though, the game looks like it'll be awesome to play.

BS3 is full of bs. It's already been confirmed that Lair is 12-15hrs. Heavenly Sword is 10-12. And both are longer than Gears of War :-)
Nothing about Haze points to it sucking... and just b/c Lair is not AAA doesn't mean it's a bust. It's still getting some good reviews all saying it's worth playing, ASSUMING that a dragon combat game is your type of game to begin with. But yea, you obviously have different tastes.
If the lineup of PS3 games for this fall/winter don't interest you then there really aren't any games this gen that will and you DIDN'T do enough research before your purchases. I still have the game...
I'm buying all 3, as each of them are among my most anticipated games. But I think Warhawk will be among the most overlooked, simply because it is limited by the percentage of the ps3 fanbase that play online.
However, for those of us that play online, I think Warhawk is the single most anticipated game this fall (after playing the beta, it's definitely mine)!
Not only that, but those with the hard copy of the game will be able to delete the cache file whenever they need to free up space. Whereas, you can only delete the downloaded copy 4 times or you lose it for good.
Yes, from watching 20 min of gameplay. They reserved comment on what it felt like to actually play the game since they didn't play it themselves and merely commented on what they'd seen.
I have to agree. The game looks pretty good. But all of the facial animations are pretty stiff & the voice acting certainlly isn't fluid... But to be fair, what they're trying to do is pretty ambitious... so I could forgive both of those.

No, it takes me 5 min at most to find a game. But if their point is that you can't jump instantly into a game, then for the most part they are correct. But it really doesn't take long to get into one... especially if you want to play an unranked game. There are literally hundreds of games going at one time.
