I can't believe what a great presentation Nintendo had! Totally blown away. I don't know if it was because of reduced expectations, but man, it was FAR superior than MS's conference for GAMERS! Great job, Nintendo.

That is NOT what this was at all. Review copies are generally returned to the companies after a designated period of time. The giveaway by MS was just that -- an Oprah-like giveaway. The audience barely applauded during any part of the presentation up until then. Then Gametrailers flashed to a couple of reporters giving a standing ovation... They weren't applauding the presentation, just the giveaway/bribe(?) -- simply disgusting.
You took the words right out of my mouth -- that little girl was so contrived, so sickeningly sweet, so Sesame Street -- that I was embarrassed for MS. It was like watching an episode of Barney -- the same bad child acting...
Then, the "conference call" with the twin sisters... What the heck what that???

A true "news" company would never accept a gift such as this... it is completely unethical because even if they are not coloring reviews in a positive way, there is the APPEARANCE of impropriety. In other words, it looks like those in attendance were bought for good reviews -- even if it ends up not being true, the stigma remains on those who got a new Xbox... of course, true and ethical media outlets will either not accept the gift/bribe, or they will use it as a promo and give it...
How is this approved??? It is a PRESS RELEASE from MICROSOFT!!

This is a silly comment. Why call Sony out for this? EVERY consumer tech company does the same... Whether it is Sony, Apple (especially Apple), Toshiba, Samsung, Microsoft, etc... Look at about 14 seconds in... the dad steps on the mom's foot and she looks PISSED!! LOL.
Because MS would rather show it to small, no-name websites and blogs... I've yet to see any hands-on "articles" like this from IGN, 1UP, Edge, GameTrailers, Game Informer, etc.
After all, Sony is a partner of Google... and Hulu is integrated into Google TV.

I'm pretty certain that this can be done on Natal... that is the whole point! Natal is all smoke and mirrors and hype... The media is eating it up, while there is already something on the market (the PS Eye) that does essentially the same thing.
