The console is only a little over 3 years old... GOW2 looks like (or is even better than) some of the current gen titles out there. That was the last major game released for the PS2 and it was mind blowing how they optimized that game for the PS2. I can't even begin to imagine what games will look like on the PS3 in a few years! It is exciting to think about the next Uncharted, Killzone, and even the future iterations of MLB: The Show (how much better can that game look??) -- not to mentio...
"Oh... and if you happen to run into the present day me, please tell me to avoid the Cinco de Mayo flan."
Too funny.
1. GOW3 came out a week after FFXIII, and
2. PS3s are in EXTREMELY short supply which probably helped the 360 sales numbers.
EDIT: I, for one, didn't buy FFXIII yet, even though I want it, because I wanted to get through GOW3 first before I settle into a 60 hour+ jrpg. I'm sure that there are others that did the same.
No PS3s in any Best Buys from Palm Beach to Miami... And all of my local Game Stops are either sold out or only have a couple of 250 GB models.
This whole virtual item thing makes no sense to me... Especially since GOW3 is a single-player game! Who is going to see it??
I can't imagine that MS would ever do the same on one of its big IPs.
Fooled me into clicking the link... AGAIN!!
for putting out a system that pushes shovelware?
for putting out a system that alienated its core audience?
for not developing new IPs and relying almost exclusively on IPs that (while great) have been around for 20 years?
It could also be inFamous 2
Which ones are best for the PS3?
The writer of this blog sure was impressed... And for anyone who didn't see the Arstechnica hands-on that was posted earlier, the tech melds together whatever Natal is promised to be, along with Wii-type controllers that are more precise. Seriously, this is a great and short read:

He had absolutely NOTHING to say... he didn't answer any question, other than to give a canned response out of a press release...
Easy and quick to integrate into the game... AND PRECISE WITH NO LAG.
From the article:
Aiming the crosshairs with the Move worked well, and I didn't feel any lag. While I was new to the game, the firefights and encounters were a blast with the controller; there is something much more satisfying about aiming at the screen with a controller instead of moving an analog stick. This is a controller that's ready for more mainstream use in shooters, and the fact that Sony ...
You are so right! (See my comment below)
The article is not only about the small amount of system memory it will take to run Move, it is also about exactly WHAT Move is capable of... This thing is definitely no Wii clone AND it may one-up Natal:
For those who haven't read the article itself, it is about a lot more than the memory allocation:
Sony's GDC panel "Introducing the PlayStation Motion Controller was exactly that: An introduction to the newly named Move peripheral. David Coombes, Kirk Bender an...
"any child that loves the toy story movies has already grown up."
I am going to assume that you were born in 1989, which explains the immaturity in your statement. I am 43 and still LOVE Toy Story and every other Pixar movie (and Disney classics as well)... It is sad that you are "too cool" to enjoy these movies. They are amazing for kids and adults. As a matter of fact, UP! was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards this year!

"xbox 360 sells 50% more games than the ps3. Ea sells games." LOL
Try doing some simple research:

Both PC and PS3 prove more profitable platforms than Xbox for EA in quarter ending June 30th
Whilst it was the Wii, thanks to the success of EA Sports Active, that really shone for EA in its latest fiscal quarter, just as...
Like he is somehow a "futurist" ... a forward-thinking developer who looks toward the future... *Throws up*
On point... From the article:
"Although the Eyetoy will also be required, one has to wonder what purpose that fulfils."
Ummmm, it is called the PS Eye... and it is what makes the Move so precise. Great reporting!!
MS announces Natal with nothing other than a flashy presentation based upon smoke and mirrors. The Natal model shown at E3 is technologically different (some might say inferior) than the one that will be released later this year. When, in fact, Sony had the EyeToy for the PS2 and the PSEye for the PS3 years earlier. And MS is called "INNOVATIVE".
Sony introduces a motion control device that incorporates the PSEye technology with a similar (but MUCH more precise and s...
The credits immediately pulled me into the "epicness" of the game... Even my 6-year old son stood there in awe of the opening credits... I've watched through those credits several times and absolutely love it because it sets the tenor of the game.
