Funny thing is that almost every gaming website -- UNIVERSALLY -- including Xbox fan websites, have been running negative Kinect stories. Don't put this on N4G. Yeah, there may be fanboys on this site (both Sony and MS), but bottom line is that Kinect deserves all the bad previews and comments. It is a product that does a disservice to gaming, gamers and to the Xbox brand itself.

We’ve seen the game in action, and although we weren’t able to try it out (it was hands-off), it looks easily accessible. Plus, it’s dead-on accurate, which is more than we could say for some of the other Kinect/Move titles we saw at E3 back in June.
IGN has been critical of Kinect and supportive of Move.

Don't know how big it was, but it took about 4 minutes to download and install.
I was really surprised... I booted it up today, it updated and then a PS Move instruction screen came up!
I agree... I think that while the Kinect motion control looked sort of cool with this game, it would be far better with Move because you not only have the motion control component, but you also have tactile feedback with it, as well.
I don't see any Kinect games. :/
What I do find interesting is that Madden and MoH are higher on the list than their Xbox counterparts.
You have seen article after article about Kinect and most of them have been negative. What I find interesting about this article in particular is the fact that it comes from an Xbox site! It really doesn't look good for Kinect when even the MS faithful don't think it will work and don't like the direction that MS is going with the Xbox.
It has been the complete opposite with Move. Move has had non-stop articles posted on here, but most of them have been positiv...
What the heck are you talking about? This is normal for a game that is as old as Afrika and probably has very few people still playing it. The problem with EA is that they shut servers down a year or 2 after a game comes out to force you to buy the new version. This is not even an "online-centric" game and Sony is not doing this to force you to buy Afrika 2.
Only on N4G does a simple news story get twisted into a Sony-bashing session.
This is absolutely duplicate story. The video was posted from the Dual Shockers website, I think... and it was a better camera angle and video quality in the other posting.
actually, at this point you do have to stand. MS has said that games can be coded in the FUTURE to have the ability to play sitting down, but it has been made very public that MS told developers initially to make sure that the gameplay required players to stand. It has been brought up in more articles than I can count.

You can substitute "Joy Ride" in this sentence for pretty much every Kinect game.
I remember when my grandparents gave me the Atari 2600... so awesome... my favorite games were Pitfall, Adventure (find the easter egg!) and Megamania!
The proof of the flamebaiting nature of comparisons like this is in their conclusion:

The difference is that Betamax was actually a better product than VHS. It just didn't catch on with the public. I would bet that you are too young to remember that or that you were even born yet.

Looks like Kinect is nothing more than an eyetoy/ps eye... maybe a little more advanced with the utilization of the ir camera, but, in terms of gaming possibilities, there does not seem to be much more that Kinect can do that PS Eye can't.
