Am I the only one who finds the scoring of consoles kind of disgusting?
Reviews are all fine and good, but trying to actually give a numbered score to a piece of hardware at launch is just absurd.
I Am Alive had a few good ideas, but even then they didn't quite work out the way they were intended, which felt like the theme of the game. I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed I Am Alive, but it was certainly more for it's ambition than execution.
I agree that seeing Naughty Dog take some of the ideas used in I Am Alive and actually pull them off in the inevitable sequel would be awesome. Unfortunately, this article reads like someone who is using an u...
So are we taking bets yet on who posts "The power of the cloud?" after Xbox launch?
There are plenty of decent Marvel games, and even a handful of good ones. One of the biggest problems has been the way the rights have been distributed during this last gen, and even the one before it. I would say the odds of something truly great being worked on are a lot better these days. Disney and Marvel have been going full throttle with movies/tv, and so as long as the success keeps up, there is hope that the same effort will be put into gaming as well.
Personally, I w...
Lori Alan as The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3 was an excellent performance as well.
I would love to see a story focusing on the early days of both the fireflies and a group of hunters as they (potentially unknowingly) work against each other trying to survive. By the end of the game, it's pretty easy to forget that both sides are nothing more than humans trying to survive in this world, albeit through very different methods. Unfortunately, something like that would probably be a bit hefty for a single DLC pack.
I feel like Ish's story is better left ...
Hey guys, who wants to support my Kickstarter about the severe and disgusting lack of JNCO Jeans in video games?
I'm only asking for $942,000.
Well said.
I love how the same people who used these sort of issues on multiplatform games against PS3 this gen are now acting like it's no big deal to them.

Probably something along the lines of "Oh, so it's like a much worse rendition of Raiden from MGR, while taking cues from Bulletstorm's writers." followed by a long sigh.
When I watched the recent trailer for this game, the absolute last thing to cross my mind was "this is just what the japanese games industry needs".
Trust Yoshida and possibly be surprised, or trust Keighley and probably be disappointed.
Not exactly a hard choice.
I don't know what's worse, the idea of an Exorcist video game, or the idea that Underworld is a horror movie.
You hit the nail on the head. There's just something special about knowing that you have a decent weapon, but also knowing that it might not do a damn bit of good against the horrors that await.
Of course, as more games follow the Amnesia formula, it will be interesting to see how developers dabble in the implementation of more of these systems into horror games. There could be some potentially crazy and innovative games coming our way in the next few years.
I find the currently popular idea of "combat has no place in horror" to be ridiculous, and frankly an easy way to avoid solving the problem of how combat SHOULD be done in horror games.
I enjoyed Amnesia as much as the next horror fan, but to say that all of these games following that trend is a good thing is to completely ignore the lessons learned from the RE generation of horror.
It doesn't work on my N64 either, what a terrible product.
Hopefully they get this right, because WB releasing Origins puts a lot of pressure on Rocksteady with the next game. If they don't manage to get beyond "Another one of those Batman games" you will likely see a lot of fatigue from some fans.
They've done good work so far, so I think they can pull it off. Although, I would have loved to see them take on another comic book character, be it DC, Marvel, or otherwise.
2037.
A lone man wanders the now barren wasteland of GTA Online. He looks up and notices a discrepancy in his bank account. It has finally happened.
I love how people bitch about this and ask "WHY IT NOT IN BOX? HULK SMASH!". Are you people slow?
Things like this are part of a patch because they are being worked on beyond the time the consoles would need to be ready to go. You want your features working as good as possible? You want a reduced number of bugs and issues? Shut up and download the small update. This is just the nature of consoles.
Think about it guys, a zombie apocalypse that never happens.
Most realistic zombie game ever.
